I can't believe an organ could realize this piece! The effects & dynamics were properly captured. This organist has created a serious impression in my head. I can't express my joy in listening to this organ version. I was listening for the fugue part to see if anything will be missing but nothing was out of place. Wow! You are so gifted & the score must have been well reduced. Nice expression! Thank you for sharing!
This is sublime. Organ is becoming my favorite instrument to listen to. Organ, I think, lends the melancholic tinge that this piece requires and how wonderful is to get soaked in it.
@@ardoschelling198 Actually each keyboard (Manual & Pedal) is considered an equivalent of an orchestra. So this is a 5 orchestra organ. collectively it has about 80 players (Stops) and each player has a range of 61 notes for his instrument. There are brass, woodwind, the flute family and strings all represented herein.
I'm absolutely speechless! Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 is one of my favorites. What a fantastic transcription of this orchestral masterpiece for the organ--it brought me to tears! Jonathan Scott you are an extremely talented man and you're giving me Edwin Lemare vibes here! Keep on transcribing orchestral works for organ, you're a master at it just like Edwin was!
Hello all, I am in AWE when I listen and watch to Jonathan play the organ. I come from a musical family. My mother was a church organist in St. Albans Vermont USA. If she saw and heard this now she would be in tears like I am when I watch Jonathan play. You are a gifted person and I could listen you all the time. Please come to the USA for a concert. Where ever it is I will be there. Thank You Al in Essex Jct Vermont USA
Thank you Jonathan. Magnificent organ which you play to perfection. Watching you and listening to this beautiful music is a great enjoyment. If your brother is filming I compliment him on a great job. Your talent is so natural you appear to make very little effort to produce such remarkable sounds.
First heard this beautiful piece on The King's Speech Film at the end when he gives a speech on his own. The crescendo emphasise those tense moments when you think he's going to stumble.
Bravo Jonathan. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Beautifully played. I would love to hear you play this to a full audience once concerts are allowed and I would like a front row seat please !! Thanks to Tom too for his technical expertise. Fabulous sound and vision as always.
One of the most beautiful rockballads ever for me suitable transcribed exactly to the queen of all analogue instruments perfectly played also. What a pleasure for me, thanks for sharing!
I have just got learn about Jonathan and am quite simply blown away with his amazing talent! During lockdown I have enjoyed every transcription performed, and am at loss as to how anyone can be so talented. Thank you Jonathan, and Tom for some great video work. Jeff Green
It is a dreary, rainy afternoon her in the US but my heart is full of emotion as I listen to a mix of Scott Brothers Duo! Every seat in Bridgewater Hall is filled by an adoring fan from your online concerts. I only hope that you can feel the energy in the audeince that you have inspired! I must confess, though, that my absolute favorites are the piano/organ (or harmonium) duets that you and Tom perform! The synergy between the two of you is more like one brain with four attached hands and two (or three) feet!! I hope you will put a little more on the website about your and Tom's award winning performance at ECHO. Those young people are so very fortunate!! Again, thanks for bringing sunshine into an otherwise gray day! BTW, last night was not a good sleeping night and I have listened to Scott Brothers Duo perfection for almost 20 hours out of the past 24. I never tire of your concerts or your singles!! You both bring such joy and peace to so many in these troubled times. Thankfully, no one is around when I am humming along to your melodius strains. I try not to ruin the moment!
La personne qui m'a recommandé lemmes à l'orgue de Jonathan scott !merci!je le considère comme un virtuose fantastique il joue avec une telle aisance et passion !
Considering the "octavage" of a pipe organ, transformation of Beethoven's #7 or most symphonies for this purpose, into an organ piece might not have been a bad idea, perhaps. Jonathan Scott's performance (and arrangement if applicable) is outstanding as usual.
It's as though you and the Bridgewater Hall organ were born on the same day and grew up together! You and it are extensions of each other. You play other organs brilliantly, but here you breathe through the instrument.
If you did the transcription, I do hope you’ll transcribe more of Beethoven’s work (as Liszt did) as well as other orchestral masterpieces. I really enjoy your lockdown concerts online!

This is one of the most sublime pieces of absolute music ever written. Beethoven's greatest gift was doing so much with so little.
It’s just unbelievable
he has healed me
Yes

Beethoven would have wept with pure joy at this beautiful rendition!
Who says you need a full orchestra when you have an organ? and an organist so gifted as Jonathan?
Only the 'orchestra snobs' - and, quite understandably, the members of the orchestra and the person on the ego-trip, waving the stick about.
certainly when you have THIS organist. The man is UBER talented, mind you, so is brother Tom!
Amen!
he plays an orchestra of 5500 (!) pipes

I don't blame you! God bless your ears!
I did this when he played Grand March from Aida. That is amazing through earbuds!! A totally personal concert !!
@@racheldemain1940 Yes it was amazing.
Really amazing to hear one of my favorite Beethoven symphonic movements executed so brilliantly.
Jeez this blew my mind. What a gifted player. Totally blessed to do it all in such an instrument as the pipe organ. Awestruck 😍 Bravissimo!

So intense & beautiful at the same time. A favorite theme. Wonderful transcription, as always. Thank you both! 🎹🎶
So great !! I've been waiting for a version of the Beethoven's 7th symphony since a very long time!
First heard this beautiful piece on The King's Speech Film at the end when he gives a speech on his own. The crescendo emphasise those tense moments when you think he's going to stumble.
This won't ever be played this good by anyone else.
I am so glad! For real, I cant get this loud enough.
Unbelievable! Or it was, until I heard Jonathan do it! Wonderful! Thank you for this special contribution to commemorating Beethoven.
This is from heaven!
And beyond.
Magnificent! Wonderful transcription, beautifully played. Thank you.
Amazing and absolutely powerful!!!

Hearts & soul with true music in these hard times of isolation.
Pat Ablitt.
Wow! I played it twice. It gets better and better. Gina Dodds, Bellmore, NY USA (a devoted fan of the Bros.)
Hearing this at the climax of Ehrengard (2023) was such a treat! Wonderful performance, and hit so well in that movie.
Jonathan and Tom, thank you both once again for a stunning visual and audio performance.

Superb, as always, and so thoughtfully played. Even Ludwig would have heard that!!
Absolutely stunning piece of music 🙏🙏🙏
