The 90s version of The Addams Family The Nightmare Before Christmas Casper HalloweenTown Coraline Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride Those are the best wholesome Halloween movies
Monster House and Coraline definitely earn the "thought it would be wholesome and instead was nightmare fuel." Personally the same went for Paranorman.
Halloween is the perfect excuse to watch "Hocus Pocus." Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy make the best witches, and are extremely memorable.
Casper has such a warm place in my heart. When it got released on VHS I was staying at my grandparents house with a stomach bug and wanted them to rent it for me. Unfortunately it wasn’t in stock at Blockbuster so my grampa drove to Kmart found it on tape and bought me my own copy. Grandparents are truly magical and I was so blessed to know all 4 of mine. ❤️🥰
I would add The Halloween Tree. It's a beautiful story about Halloween being celebrated around the world and trying to save their friend. And also Garfield's Halloween Special
When you consider the monumental achievement that Hocus Pocus is now a certified classic...it's nothing short of amazing. The odds were so stacked against it when it was released in the summer and was ultimately a commercial flop in 1993. It's longevity and cult classic status is amazing!
Hocus Pocus actually freaked me out. I didn't think it was wholesome at all. Casper is still awesome and Kat's mom being an angel still gets me in the heart. I loved the Mister Boogedy movies, The Canterville Ghost, and the Halloween That Almost Wasn't.
Casper and Hocus pocus are my favourite movies to watch on Halloween, in fact every Halloween night I get dressed up and watch both of them, it's become a tradition for me,
Funny thing all of us truly refuse to watch that idiotic controversial Velma show, instead all of us prefer to re-watch our favorite Scooby-Doo franchises like the OG Zombie Island and Mystery Incorporated television shows including the classic Hanna-Barbera series.
Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf and Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School are staples!! But also Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman is a must!! You also forgot The Little Vampire
My pick list: The Munsters Revenge Halloween With the New Addams Family..... Scooby Doo.... Elvira Charlie Brown.... Garfield... Casper Raggedy Ann and Andy Halloween Town... Witches Night Out Disney Halloween Treat Disney Headless Horseman Halloween that almost Wasn't Halloween is Grinch Night Bewitched Episodes Super Friends.. The Ghost 👻 Attack of the Vampire 🦇 Swamp of the Living Doom Once Upon a Poltergeist The Mummy.... Voodoo Vampire 🦇 Halloween is Grundy Night (Batman 🦇) Mad Monster Party... Casper Meets Wendy...Van Helsing... Lonesome GHOSTS.... Frankenstein meets the Wolfman.... The Uninvited Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein SUPER Friends meet Frankenstein The Flintstones meet The Frankenstones... Ghostbusters Both versions
Love many of these family friendly Halloween movies from the Scooby Doo movies, Hotel Transylvania, the animated Addams Family movies, Halloween Town, and of course Hocus Pocus, but the one that needs an honorable mention is Ernest Scared Stupid, it was his best movie ever because not only does it still has the classic Ernest zaniest jokes and comedy but it shows his heroic side of him taking on an evil troll and saving the kids on Halloween. We need more movies like that these days
Yes! It’d be nice to see the Peanuts specials annually airing on TV again instead of watching them on Apple+. Granted, I have Apple+ and the holiday specials on Blu-Ray, but nothing beats the joy and fun of seeing them on TV.
Coraline (since you showed a quick clip) definitely creeped me out. I can't believe how many people love it. But Nightmare B4 Xmas is 4evr #1, because music is always the luscious frosting on the cake.
A lot of the ones you mentioned scared me as a kid in certain scenes. But one of the newer Disney channel ones you forgot to mention was the Twitches franchise with Tia and Tamera Mowrey.
Best family Halloween movies: The Addams Family 1 and 2 (didn't see part 3, but maybe it's for the best) It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Casper (only the first one) The Halloween Tree Hocus Pocus (just the first movie) I noticed someone mentioned The Canterville Ghost. I remember that one, too. The Nightmare Before Christmas Edward Scissorhands The 'Burbs
I like my favorite wholesome Halloween movies and ended up being terrifying on TV or on Hulu or on Disney Plus or on the DVDs like Hotel Transylvania Franchise and Frankenweenie and Scooby-Doo Franchise and The Addams Family Franchise and The Nightmare Before Christmas and Casper and Halloween Town Franchise and It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and Hocus Pocus
Hocus Pocus (1993) and It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (1966) are my Top 2 favorites to Halloween traditions movies to watch. Along with Scooby movies, Tim Burtons, Universal Classic Monster movies and Addams Family.
Not sure if I would consider the “mosters are real” Scooby-Doo movies “wholesome”. They are fantastic, especially Zombie Is, but they are more scare than care. A better wholesome example, if more old school, is the Raggedy Ann and Andy film “The Pumpkin Who Couldn’t Smile.” Animation by Chuck Jones. But hey, it’s a Mojo list.
I love the grounded reality of this channel!! Retirement took a toll on my finances, but I am so excited with my involvement in the digital market. $37k weekly has been life changing. Regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
Impressive! Been trying to trade on my own for a while now, but it isn't going well. few months ago I lost about $27,000 in the trade. Can you please at least advise me on what to do?
Sorry about that..Well I started t with Maira Angelina Alexander in 2021 and now my life is good some thing to write home about!!!! I thank God the most He alone made it possible for the opportunity to come my way 🤲🤲🤲🤲
Now more than ever, diversifying your income streams beyond government reliance is crucial. Consider investing in alternative assets. For instance, Maria Angelina Alexander's trading strategy yielded a remarkable 153% return in just 14 days, turning $18,000 into $45,500.
Investing can be a powerful tool for building wealth and securing financial stability especially in this hard time. but it’s important to understand that it’s not without its challenges. The investment landscape is inherently volatile, with periods of both gains and losses. This variability is a natural part of investing and requires a clear strategy and patience to navigate effectively.

Coco is not a Halloween movie.

Monster House is definitely a must watch for Halloween!! Its funny and terrifying

Devon Sawa - the human form of Casper - is the first crush for millions of geriatric millennials!
What about Raggedy Ann and Andy and the Pumpkin who couldn’t Smile?
it's not terrifying but Scary Godmother spooktacular is a cute and fun one from when I was a kid
It’s surprising that Paranorman is not part of Tim Burton’s filmography.
Does no one remember The Worst Witch? Movie or the tv series

The best
Monster House should’ve been on here
