    Lateral Wall= Membranous wall/Tympanic wall, Anterior Wall= Carotid wall, Medial Wall= Labyrinthine wall, Posterior Wall= Mastoid wall.

    Sagittal section (Antero-posteriorly); (Upper part of) Anterior Wall= Eustachian Tube/Pharyngotympanic Tube, Posterior Wall= Mastoid Air Cells/Mastoid Antrum, Superior Wall/Roof of ME= Tegmen Tympani.

    Clinical Co-relate: Roof of ME/Tegmen Tympani; ME infection leaking into Temporal Lobe potentially causing Meningitis, Extra Dural Abscess etc.]. Mastoid Antrum (Posterior wall): Infections/Inflammations here may leak into Posterior Cranial Fossa; Sigmoid Sinus, Brain Stem (BS) & Cerebellum; Thrombophlebitis of Sigmoid Sinus, Infections of BS & Cerebellum.

    Sagittal section (SC) continued: Inferior Wall/Floor= Jugular Fossa (Jugular bulb of IJV); 9th, 10th & 11th Cranial Nerves, all buried in floor of ME, Tympanic branch of 9th Nerve entering into ME.

    SC continued:(In front of) Lower part of Anterior Wall= Internal Carotid Artery (ICA), Sympathetic plexus (some branches of it enter into ME).
