    During this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be teaching you about the various structures of the external and middle ear such as the facial canal, roof, floor, anterior, posterior, lateral and medial walls of the middle ear. We also discuss the promontory, various foramina, tensor tympani, stapedius, muscles of the soft palate and pharynx, ossicles, as well as the various innervation of the external and middle ear. We discuss the tympanic membrane and the pharyngotympanic tube, and lastly the ceruminous glands and the pinna. We hope you enjoy this lecture and be sure to support us below!

    Thanks for your most educational presentation of Ear problems and hearing systems.
    I am 87 years of life and facing some hearing problem. However it’s most educative system of your explanations anyone can understand the functionality of the ear.
    I’m sure to follow the tips you explained in the video. In the next 2 years I will report you that I have no hearing problems.

    Tensor tympani comes from the anterior wall then goes into lateral wall, it doesn’t go through medial wall as you draw it ,,
    42:04 mastoiditis also affects sigmoid sinus and transmits the infection to the cerebellum ,,anyway thank you for this great explanation

    This is such a clear explanation. When I had this topic in anatomy in first or second year of med school, unfortunately the anatomy lecturer did an awful job explaining this.
