XR is a pretty cool company, the CEO and engineers are cool people as well. They have an interesting project, a pretty ambitious one that goes beyond just a product, that's currently in development that I also helped with via some basic consulting; I also have some personal projects that're getting out of hand, as I'm just an individual hobbyist, that I'll be pitching to them at some point as they, as an established business and manufacturer, actually have the sources and resources to bring some of these projects to the light of day at scale with traction considering their following and marketing. They also have pretty good manufacturing practices, I haven't really heard many complaints about their products even though they have an absolutely massive catalogue and variety of mods.
Another con is that I can't get these because my PS5 is mounted on the wall and I need that screw for stability. Which really sucks because The Great Wave is one of my favorite pieces of art. 😢
Just ordered and confirmed with the customer support that the new model of the rgb lights are jusy the same amazon link as with the old model ones. They have discontinued the old model which is PFLED03 to be specific.

How do u install the rgb light in the ps5 and also on the stand to have it light up? Also I have the newer model of ps5 and wander is it safe to stand it up or should I have it lay on it side. I’m not super techy. Also I want to get some plates but I don’t know weather to go with Amazons intake fan covers or dbrands. Also never herd of aim. New subscriber as well. are these the new RGB led kit from extreem rate? I got the rgb kit from extreem rate and as much as I love it I wished that it wouldve been more defused light instead of seeing every led piece
Unless I got this light kit mixed up in the parts drawer with all my other extremerate stuff, I’m pretty sure both led kits are extremerate. One might be branded as “play vital” but it’s the same company

The original plates don't have fan cutouts. Completely unnecessary.
