Finally found them playing live. Lived 800 miles from my family for 8 months, trying to survive the worst job I ever had. This song kept me going through the bad times. Thank you Finn Brothers for this awesome song.
Dad listened to Radio Caroline all the time a few years ago. 2003 maybe? This song was played every day. Wonderful, wonderful wonderful. The memories that it brings back - lovely. Easily one of my favourite songs ever written. I mean how many people could use this as a backing track to their favourite summers?
Bruh, America knows. From Split Enz videos on MTV in the early 80s to Neil’s touring (with each new band). When I was in uni in Pittsburgh in the early 90s, Crowded House was a hot ticket. America knows.
They are stunning and still globally (relatively speaking) underrated. Everyone is Here is a majestic album indeed.
Hess will always be missed playing the drums for Crowded House.

Thank you Hessy for the drumming beat you did with Crowded House.

So poignant , the line "Even if time is just a flicker of light, and we all have to die alone"....RIP Paul ...

So glad you've found them - look for albums by The Finn Brothers, Neil Finn, Tim Finn, Split Enz & Crowded House (& Neil's son Liam)
PERFECTION.
Fantabulous!!! This has been on my favourites since dot! So beyond awesome!
America never knowing how awesome these guys are and what their influence in world pop music was... priceless

definately the best song of the nineties,,,,,means so much every single time ye hear it
This wasn't released in the 90s.
Love everything Neil has done, including the Split Enz and Crowded House. He is like the Paul McCartney of Australia.
...or NZ
OOPS!!!
this one's such a huge favorite to me - popped into my head today while i was working out in the gym...
Not just the Finn Brothers, the Stacey Brothers too on drums and guitar!

One of my favorite songs of all times. I found it on the sound track to Because of Winn Dixie.
Doesn't get any better than the Finns!
Yeah - Tim and Neil are both great songwriters, singers and musicians
Lucky to have seen both of them several times in New Zealand together and solo
I am in love!
Saw neil 2014 at sage Gateshead amazing

Pure genius
I think so too...(about Liams song I mean)
I'm pretty sure I did hear him comment on it once...
and yes, it's an amazing song.
My favourite song from the past 10 years. Neil Finn's songwriting is definitely as good as Lennon & McCartney.
Yer feel it. Just tims music i love. An great c him. Thanx
It's only been shown on pay-tv so far.
Neil Finn writes the songs that should come from Paul McCartney....that's how great he is!
WOW!!
If only new NZ music was like this
So sad that Paul couldn't hold on!
Hessie ❤️ Rip
Man, the dude on drums was great at the end. Who was that?
This song and album were created while they were grieving the death of their mother. I would guess it is about her.
@Ardendave on a par with squeeze maybe, but , they have had a longer career so i guess your right
paul hester RIP
ahhhh - Hessie....
What a fantastic performance. Tim is looking so sexy. I'm especially lovin' his hair.
:sigh:
Not sure, but it could be Ross Burge.
