Fantastic!!! beautiful version... the Finn brothers please tour. get together again ...make music we all need it!!...Thanks for the upload..woodface is a masterpiece..
I would urge people to watch this, so that they understand that this is what can happen when positive brotherly collaborations take place. May we all be so fortunate...
I remember seeing them at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the day after Hess left us and it was touch and go as to whether the gig would go ahead. It was beyond any doubt, the most emotionally intense and memorable gig that I've ever seen or probably ever will see. A lot of us had no idea why it felt so different but just that if you could stick your tongue out, there was something so charged in the atmosphere, you could have tasted it. My most treasured gig memory, bar none.
...went to see Crowded House on the 'Woodface' tour in about '91 in Ipswich...didn't realise at the time who the support act was...it was Tim who'd just left the band...
I love Neil and Tim and their extended family of musicians and friends. So sad that Paul took his life not long after this. Makes me emboldened to talk to friends and family who are depressed, and PRESS them regarding their state of mind. And to press them to come closer, and to shed the dark cloak of sadness, in favor of the bright coat of cheer, friendship, and family.
yes, I've been a split enz, finn brothers, crowded hse admirer for many, many years. I was very sorry to hear of Paul Hester's passing, I hope he is at peace.
No one else can compare with the Finns. Check out ' only talking sense ' , just heard it the other day and its gone straight to the top of my all time favorites followed by ' pour le monde ', poor boy, i hope i never, weather with you , dont dream its over etc etc.
Look I wasn't there but people should be up dancing - Yer! Also, disembodied voices is my favourite to explore family connections - didn't see you guys connecting. Don't get me wrong - love you guys!
Just the most beautiful voices...ever.

i love this music from the finn brothers
The first CH song I heard and led to so many years of joy. And then I realised it was the same people as in Split Enz, whom I'd loved too.

How lovely Tim referencing their Mum and Dad. I wonder if they knew the blessing they gave the world in their boys, and now grandsons.

Tim's voice was sadly not loud enough to really appreciate the brothers duo. I cannot understand how the mix ingenior made that mistake.
