@@Varad13Plays it's not the number of intakes (not vents, mind you) but how they're being used that matters. More vents/intakes =/= better cooling. Last year's TUF models were intentionally deprived of fresh air because the intakes over the fans were straight up blocked. Doesn't seem to be the case this time. And there's more heatpipes, especially over the VRM, so expect 15-20 degrees improvement in over all cooling.
As a budget gamer, budget is what I concern the most among other aspects. Hopefully 1000$ for ryzen 5 + rtx 3060 .
So far, the only" rtx3060" laptop under 1k USD I found is msi gf65 with max q. Hopefully the difference between mp and mq is not much

Hate to break it to you, but 2 of the TUF a15 are on bestbuy and they come with a intel i7 and 3060 @ $1100 USD or 3070 @ 1449 USD.
But they may add ryzen one eventually.
Finally srgb more than 90%, the content creator must thinking for this laptop
Only on 240hz version, the 144hz option it's still the same panel with last year model. So still not a perfect choice for content creator who just do "content creator"

Unfortunately they are using the same crappy screen again. The new Tuf A15 was available on Bestbuy (American online shopping website) for pre-order and in the specs it 144hz 250 note display, the same as the older Tuf A15. So the same crappy screen again
All are here, just the price needs to be similar to last year model and asus will have a killer laptop.

I saw a Best Buy ad for these new ones. Around $1099 for a i7 11th, 16gb ram, RTX 3060 and 512 gb ssd. This is a huge bang for your buck, especially since Asus redesigned this to improve cooling which was the last generations biggest issue.

I strongly recommend that you do not buy this laptop, as they try to bottleneck their own machine on purpose. you can't even use your cpu let's say over 2.7 ghz because of its "advanced thermal design". also watch gamers nexus video on A15. if you want to buy an amd powered laptop then I'd suggest lenovo this year.

Well, asus has improved the vents a little bit at this 2021 version. They also added a heatsink for vram. Still, we need a test between 2020 version versus 2021 verion of Tuf A15

If you interested in this laptop, here a some of my thought about it after 1 month using. It's basically the same 2020 version with new graphics on top, it's look kinda cool compare to the 2020 version which look kinda dumb. There are 2 screen options, 100% sRGB only came with 240hz and yea, the shitty 144hz still available. I'm using the 3060 version, and honestly it freaking great for game, the performance is somewhere around the 2060 on desktop and the 2070 115w variant on laptop, so it's good, especially for the price, you get 95w variant instead of mostly 80-85w on yhe Dash, maybe the Nitro 5, and beat the hell out the GF65. The temp for the gpu it's fine, 76-78° celsius, but cpu it's still get 92-93° celsius while gaming. 1 good things about it is the laptop still can hold the clock speed very good and high when gaming, but for the price, I totally accepted that. Also on this 2021 version, Asus let you disable the Nvidia GPU and only using the iGPU while using battery, pairing with 90whr battery, so the battery life is super good for a laptop gaming. Otherwise, the keyboard feels good to gaming with, not so good for typing at least in my experience. Touchpad is nice, the speaker is ok, build quality is kinda good, the screen is fine if you accepted that, but if you really need a better screne but doesn't want to pay more to get 3070 with 240hz, you can replace it to another display
Thanks for the review. I would suggest to lock base clock so you can get less 10ºC on CPU. It won't affect the fps too much.

@@MemeHero worse purchase decision I ever made. The laptop is full of weird ass, un-fixable fault on the software and the the most annyoing one is the wifi. I've been using it with lan because the wifi card is dead and they can't do nothing about it. Just save for some higher tier or get used higher tier laptop. Never recommend any mid tier laptop

don't throw away the keypad or webcam in the future~~the zenbook pro UX501 was really good back in the day before the gtx10 era kicked in. then switched to another brand. Probably coming back to asus this year. Give it a cleaner look to the TUF series in the future as well like the G15. Simple is beautiful.
TUF gaming should be a budget gaming laptop. And i don't think ryzen 7 and rtx 3070 is a budget things 😅
