Just bought a 1990, I love this bike. A Goldwing was too big for my kind of driving but I wanted something that I could do some distance with and have some storage. Its a dream to ride and two up riding is a breeze. Its cheap on insurance and cheap on fuel. I call in my baby Goldwing.
I'm looking at an 89 right now. I'm 33 looking to get into riding. When I first discovered a picture of these in the ads it reminded me of the stylings of everything when I was a kid. To me this reminds me of ninja turtle cars and makes me feel young.
im 24 from ireland , i showed my girlfriend that i wanted one shes laughed and said thats a old man bike haha the touring on this would be great i do trips on my crf250l atm so a big differnce . A pc800 would be a huge bike to me
Thats Fun, I own a golving 1800 2002 model and a couple of jear ago i drove a pacific coast and I love that sound an handling And sure i thinking buying a paci coast as my second bike
Never, EVER take asking price as golden. In my area there's a beautiful 1993 ST1300 sport touring bike with 6000 miles that the owner only wants $2900 for. That's $1000 under Kelley's blue book. Tons of accessories and pics. Then there's a guy selling his 1988 Pacific Coast with 35,000 miles on it who also wants $2900, which is $500 OVER blue book. Huge difference in age, mileage and value. I wrote him asking why and expect a nasty response. I'd LOVE the ST1300 but I wanted something lighter and better on gas. People online can be monsters.
There is no science nor a formula regarding the so called Kelly Blue Book valuations. The only 'formula' for valuations is / are arbitrary market values. In other words, try to avoid paying full price for any used vehicle. Especially motorcycles and scooters. All the Best
I have a chance to buy a 1990 pc800, exact same color, it has 9300 original miles, been sitting in the guys garage for over 10 years, so what do you think?
Once had a 90 PC. Great bike!
That was 25 years ago.
If I find a nice cherry of a model I may own one again.

Great video man. Thanks for your service as a trooper! I really like the simplicity and reliability of these pc800s as well as the Trunk space lol

That's interesting. Exactly who they were marketing for is who I am. My Honda Accord has 165,000 miles on it.
marketed to California commuter yuppies. should have sold them to the wives of the new goldwing owners. Who dont want to ride 2 up in the back.
