Thank you for the compliment. I think we had an issue with no acceleration and an error code for the pedal. Quite a while ago now. Still working though.
Thanks for detailed breakdown. I had this same issue intermittently last year and replaced with a used pedal. Unfortunately now having the issue again so am considering a brand new aftermarket pedal. Before I invest I hoped you’d answer me a quick question: The issue for me is that whilst driving at a steady speed, around 20 - 30mph, or when pulling off from a junction, the accelerator just fails. No acceleration at all to the engine and the joint electrical component/glow plug error light comes on. Turning the engine off and on usually fixes the issue temporarily. It can be anything from 2 minutes to 2 months before it happens again. Would you say this is consistent with your issue?
Thank you for the comment. Ironically it turned out our accelerator pedal wasn't the real issue. I can't remember now what the issue turned out to be. Unless it was like yours and just very random. I think we just had no power at times.
Thank you for your question, if the cause is the accelerator pedal you can change them fairly easily and cheaply. I know Renaults can suffer electrical niggles if water gets into the electronic modules which are sometimes mounted near the wings.

That click is for overriding max speed limit on your cruse control. You can set max speed say 60km/h and if you floor it you override that.

I think it was simply 2 squeeze levers, one at each end.

I think you push all the way down to cancel speed limiter when needing to overtake or go faster than the limit you set.@@valodiyaa
