I love your videos so much! It's so nice to watch your content before going into the gym and reviewing how an exercise's form should look like. Much love. Thank you so much for all you do for your community- we appreciate it!
@@KrissyCelaa can you please make a video telling us if we need to be counting Marcos or total calories at the very beginning of our journey? I know by now you “just know what to eat and what portions” but for me who has been trying for years to lose this 15 lbs of fluff so I can actually see some muscle definition I am so lost on if I need to start off by doing super low carbs to get this fat off or if as long as it’s healthy and whole I shouldn’t count calories or care about the macros I just feel so lost it makes me want to give up or starve myself
I found your channel literally by tripping over it! Can't explain but you're like my fallen workout angel coach. I'm a rather mature woman not new to the fitness world, but returning after a long rehab of injuries sustained over the years. My focus is to strengthen my body from top to bottom, reshape and tone and really feel great for my age. I'm not looking to look younger but to feel strong, and vibrant and look and move with confidence, grace, and agility. I've researched many of your back videos (which contain a lot of fabulous information) to understand how to get back into the gym game. I want to thank you for taking the time in creating these technical and well in-depth lessons for women like myself who are starting from the ground floor up. I'm working on gaining the confidence to start lifting the barbells (we do not have a trainer at our gym) without guidance and your videos are helpful in understanding how to use them without injuring yourself. It's not easy but someone has to do it! 🏋Thoroughly enjoyed this segment it's really important to understand the mechanics of changing a routine from weights to body movements. Surprising the muscle to work differently. I'm really impressed and just want to take this time to say thank you - keep up this work because its sooooooooooooo needed on this channel. Thanks! Now back to the gym! 💪💪
Another 'mature' woman, who decided that when it became too difficult to get out of the bath tub I needed to do something about my lack of strength! Been going to the gym 3 times a week since February, and I have toned and tightened my body considerably, with the guidance of one of my sons. BUT, finding this channel is a game changer! I am not doing all my exercises as well as I should be for maximum benefit! The toning is a bonus, the core strength I have started building has prevented some falls that previously put me in an ambulance! When I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1995 I was told to 'exercise'... and my brain said 'Nope, that hurts too much!" Well, I proved myself wrong, and I will never be that 'frail little old lady' that some people thought I was! Here's to us Mature Women!
Krissy your content is so helpful and informative! I found lifting so intimidating for a long time but after watching one of your push workouts I was able to do conquer my fears. I find your explanations of exercises and form tips to be the best because I can actually understand them and know what I should be feeling and doing during the movements! Please keep doing what you do❤
Krissy, thanks so much for this content! 5 week into lower body strong. With each passing week, I am more intentional about my training my rest days mobility days. Everything and in a big part thanks to you! And seeing how you train and carry yourself! Love you and thanks for impacting my fitness journey the way you have ❤️❤️
The interesting thing is that I try to just listen to my body. By doing that I've actually been following your tips subconsciously. It's crazy how your body can literally tell you what it needs. Like if I need more caloric intake I'll have 2-3 days of increased hunger and usually it's a few days before my period. If I don't eat those extra calories, my energy levels at the gym drop significantly. So now I'm more mindful of what kind of exercises I'm doing. I focus on quality over quantity and it's made a huge difference in my results. I don't increase my weights very quickly because I like to make sure my form is good but once I can do 10-12reps of most exercises easily I know it's time to increase. I've tried switching up some exercises with supersets on days that I can't use certain machines and that's really changed the game for me. It increases my heart rate a lot more and challenges me in a different way.
#2 Same movement, different variation… love this! Sometimes I get stuck with doing the same lunges, same squats, etc and then I remember your videos and try to add variations and holy cow does it buuuuurrrnnn 🥵 But so so good!!
Beyond grateful I found your channel over two years ago when I first started training! Always the best advice and content and I go to the gym feeling so much more confident because of you.
thanks! i was feeling frustrated because ive been focusing on glutes for a year straight and the results are mmm… concerning. everyone else was just saying eat more! hit all muscle groups! and that was it. you actually broke it down to me❤
You changed my life, and my confidence. You made me addicted to the gym, everything you say, I trust the most. Thank you, Thank you. Love 🤩🤩🤩 I still need to loose 5 kg, but I know that I'll manage it
I dreaded adding isolation/accessory exercises because they take more time on top of heavy compound movements. But now I'm so glad I did. Just started added supersets of curtsy & reverse lunges also. Been doing legs 3X a week since January this year and my legs and glutes are growing!
I have been working on my glute muscles since April and even though I see positive body changes, I don’t see a lot of growth in my butt. I do activation before I start and I typically for 4 to 5 sets 3 reps each with progressive overload. Do you have any tips for me? Btw congrats on the progress!
@@Good.vibes.only012 Ooo it takes time! The only supplement I would recommend to try for muscle growth is creatine. It's an adjustment so give your body time to get used to it. That helped me maintain and grow my muscle mass. Eating and resting enough too. Be careful not to over train yet be consistent. I hope that helps! Also, sometimes if there's an exercise I haven't done in a while like step ups or Bulgarian split squats, it helps A LOT to maybe target muscle fibers that weren't activated before.
I stumbled on your channel about 6 days ago and am addicted. I have watched almost all videos is the few days and I want to thank you for sharing your workouts with us
thank you so much for this information. the world of working out is so overwhelming because there is soooo much to learn. but you break everything down so well! I really enjoy these educational videos. thank you so much krissy! looking forward to more. :)
Tip #1! And #4, But really, all of these are so important and great advice! 🙌 💕 Even after being in the gym for quite a while, I still have to take a step back and remember that the isolation movements are just as important. Thank you, Krissy, for wonderful content!!!
I fall into the, too many exercises in one sesh cuz ya know, I gotta hit all muscles for that body part. I do train glutes 2 x’s a week cuz trying to get a bubble bootie🍑and shoulders n back n bi’s twice a week. FINALLY started doing the muscle-mind connection n slowing down n feeling the muscle I’m trying to grow. It’s working! I need another day for quads 🫤I train Sunday Monday Wednesday Thursday. That’s just what works w/my schedule. Thank you for all yr work outs, tips and LOVE the Cookinggggg with Krissyyyyy👩🏻🍳More of those please!! Love ya Krissy🤍
Krissy...thank you for clarifying "MY Problem." I understand what I am doing wrong and kept thinking I am not seeing any results. I am going to adjust my work out to the correct form and reps. Thank you-your totally awesome
Loved this one Krissy! Tip number 4 was so so useful! Something that is not explained enough in the fitness world. Thank you for sharing these tips with us x
Krissy, I first heard you speak with Stephen on the podcast, Diary of a CEO and started following you. Yes girl, I'm learning so much in the space of a few days!!!
I was having this question in my mind from few days that if our body gets used to same workout routine and stops growing or changing then y do we follow a set program of exercise, you answered it today krissy that do same exercise but use its variants…. Wow so helpful video…. Love u seriously❤
Really appreciate ur videos with lots of tips to achieve the progress which makes everyone more motivated and addicted to the trainings on a regular basis ❤greetings from Hungary
Thank you so much for this video Krissy and all your other video's. You explain everything so clear and detailed like no other. I would really love to see full mobility videos as well. ❤
your video are so motivating!! I started working out my upper body thanks to you! I was one of this girls that only do legs at the gym till I saw your video 5 UPPER BODY EXERCISES EVERY WOMAN SHOUD DO where you show australian pull ups and row plank and that changed my work out routine
Though I can listen to you repeat same things as well, coz love your pep talks, but having so many new tips to implement and understanding things better n better with every single video is very much appreciated ❤ thanks for explaining different versions of same leg workout, really helpful.
Thanks for explaining technical failure and compound & isolation+variation. Incorporating these as core factors when creating a new routine to follow the next 8 wks☺️💖
This was great, I didn’t realize I was training my legs so much until they wouldn’t recover…I was out for 3 weeks with working legs. Even the slightest squat would set me back.😢
I love your workout and teaching videos so so good and I can tell you i wasn't able to find someone else to watch and feel satisfied like you in the time when you didn't upload much anyways please do more upper body focus video❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this!! I have a question though, you said not to train legs everyday but what if for example I want to do cardio the day after legs?
Amazing video as always ! I just think that one huge point is missing : EATING ENOUGH. I used to train for years and never see growth because I wasn't eating enough. It is a huge factor in growth, so please people eat your protein and eat your carbs.
Appreciate this vid I’m a beginner in weight lifting and all this progressive overload stuff. I feel like I’m all over the place sometime but I’m learning.
