Your tutorials have been my 'go to' from the first day I found them one year ago. Whenever I get frustrated with what I am producing I come back to you and your videos. Your tutorials are easy to follow and have given me the confidence to continue trying to learn water color. Thank you for all the time and effort you take to help everyone.
Like so many others, I have increased both my confidence and my skill in watercolor painting by watching your channel, Paul. You are a master of watercolor and we are all incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to see you at work. So great to hear you give a shout out to Tom Shepherd, I am a subscriber to his channel as well and he creates stunning work in a unique style.
I am beginning to like line and wash more and more. This is one of my favorite examples of it.

Wow, so vibrant. At the only watercolour class I went to I was told that watercolours should be pastel shades so I didn't go back. I'll definitely be having a go at this one later today. Thanks for brightening up this wet and windy Wednesday. 👏

Fascinated by how beautiful and effective a background can be with such simple, random looking brush strokes! Loved the effect the salt had here too. The floor round where I paint is gritty with salt most days now 😊

Congratulations Paul on your 100 th video. I started painting just over 2 years ago and I've found your videos to be most helpful and entertaining. I fact, my wife loves them too and she doesn't even paint. She's asks me every Wednesday what your painting is. On the subject of working wet into wet, I've found the use of ox gall mixed into my water really helps to improve wetting and paint flow. I also use it for my calligraphy work when mixing Finetec paint for writing. Thanks again for some inspiring paintings.

Love your line and wash...I haven't done Journaling since I was in several field biology classes in college. That experience colored the way I saw the world with my imaginary journal with me always. I thought that after I retired I would have plenty of time to journal again...it became a race for which came first being a bedridden shut in won. So meanwhile I will imagine I am on a field trip to Costa Rica and this is the bird I see. Thank you
