The passenger airbag comes out above the grab bar (on that flat dash portion). Anything below it (like this should be fine but I see your point. I would definitely NOT mount a cell phone on the grab bar tho. That will turn that phone into a 200 mph projectile.
Hi David. I planned on doing that but it got in the way of the pin for the freedom panel. I guess I could have just pushed it to the side. Another reason is when I have just my freedom panels off, I don't like the shade on. I only prefer the shade on when the entire top is off. I am odd. :-/

Why don’t you leave the sunshade on at all times?
