Introducing the Samsung Galaxy S9+ - The Camera. Reimagined. Our category-defining Dual Aperture lens adapts like the human eye. It's able to automatically switch between various lighting conditions with ease-making your photos look great whether it's bright or dark, day or night. If it's dark, the lens opens to F1.5 mode to pull in light for a bright and clear photo and in the daylight, the lens shifts to F2.4 mode to help your picture come out sharp. Super Slow-mo lets you see the things you could have missed in the blink of an eye. Set the video to music or turn it into a looping GIF, and share it with a tap. Then sit back and watch the reactions roll in. Create an Augmented Reality version of yourself simply by taking a selfie. Then share your real-life feelings as emoji stickers and videos. This phone is still the best, better than many and many new androids devices
This get line issue in display?
I want this 😭but Samsung shops say it's not available now
@@Nganthoi_nganba. you can buy the refurbished one
@@Nganthoi_nganba. NO SHIT! It's a 6 year old phone
No
5 years old and difference is minimal to todays phones, phones arent being used even to 50% most of the time and makes you wonder why they arent supported for longer
That was Samsung’s down fall. I have been using their phones since the Galaxy S i9000 released back in 2010, but earlier back then, it was justifiably to have 2 years of software update since the increase in chip speed was exponential and the phone was borderline too slow for even web browsing 2 years later.
After that, I had the S4 (again, only two years of software update), got a S5 when I lost my S4 in 2016 before jumping onto the Galaxy S9+. A phone released in 2018 with the latest software being released in late 2019? Aka Android 10 like really??? It’s still usable in 2023 with the exception of the battery being completely worn out and the phone being a little slow.
Since the S10, Samsung has watered down their phones to match the iPhone while iOS has finally giving users some limited level of customisation.
It was a no brainier for me to replace my faithful S9+ was an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I’d likely never touch a Samsung device again after all the betrayal. For an Android phone, I’d pick the Google Pixel.
Yup. Still using this phone as my daily driver. This phone and the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S10 series are pretty much the LAST complete phones Samsung made.
Im getting annoyed that the later flagships are downgrading their features like the headphone jack and expandable micro SD, limiting the user's options. All that just to cash grab consumers to buy more of their accessories separately, like wireless headphones and especially the charger.
the s20s were also really solid devices. Same sleek premium designs and they had micro sd slots.
@@whyisitsodifficultomakeahandle true. But I wish Samsung kept the headphone jack. Their flagships before the S20 had the jack, and still has water and dust resistance. The moment Samsung started to copy Apple, in a way they started to lose their identity.
@@lilPopperYeah man, though I should mention that the headphone jack in my S9+ is so worn out to a point that it doesn’t even stay fully in.
@@chrischoy9 regardless, when you had the jack, you had many audio options. Sorry your jack broke though. You ever thought of getting it repaired?
The 2 things I miss about this phone
Best location for fingerprint scanner and the super slow motion was cool
i needed this, it's exactly the information i needed to make a decision. thanks for the clarification in the aspect of play store app compatibility.
Agreed and im using s9plus s10plus and a34 ❤
No way we can get this under a hundred dude, listed near to 139usd as of oct2023 for a moderate condition
2023-10-9 as a GALAXY S22 ULTRA .owner Still love my galaxy S9plus. 🖤
I have a samsung s9 exynos version. I got this phone in 2020 for free ( it had display pixel burn issues, cracked display near selfie camera and broken glass back). I've used it till 2022 and then i switched phones. Im still using this s9 as a secondary phone, installed evoX Android 13 custom rom and it works smoother than before.
hows the burn? ive bough s9 plus 128gb with slight burn on it but usable
@@spideymen1544 the entire display is pink tinted
@@hanifsyedabdul Sold mine yesterday and i bought a fresh Lg V60 instead.
@@spideymen1544 didnt lg stop making phones
@@hanifsyedabdul yep. i bought it from a person. He used it for less than a month and sell it to me. He bought it from shopee.
Even in 2024 I bought this phone fairly used and I love everything about this phone but I wished it had dual sim
It worth buying it even in 2024
Does it run Genshin Impact?
@@cozinhabruta1446I haven’t tried it
I still use this. As main phone. Canada fido network. It is hard to let go headphone jack. Had to change the battery for $100cad last year.
damn thats an expensive battery though.
the battery seller made some extra bread for sure
Same paid 90 cad
Better than new midrangers imo.
i use s21 5g and s9+ and intererestingly , after the latest sowtware updates s21 takes worse photos than the old s9+
i will add that s9+ has not had samsung support for a long time
I have the same phone and was wondering does the Dex feature feature show on this when you swipe down from the top? I thought DeX came out on the S8 but Samsung support keeps telling me that this phone isn't compatible.
Best phone ever I have 2 of them Best phone ever
its a great phone , but no more security updates.
It has official LinageOS support, so you can get a modern system on it!
I actually have doubts that people running custom roms on Android actually use their phones as a primary phone. You almost can't use your phone for day to day things in this cashless society once the efuse is tripped.
This phone is also officially supported by lineage os so you could unofficially update this phone to android 13 (as long as it is the exynos version).
Great technical video
Excellent mobile. Snapdragon canadian version my main 🥰
Is it even possible to get gcam on this phone in 2023?
where can i download or do you have link
Yes telegram groups
Worth using custom rom on this?
Saw these are selling for $85 now
Probably been sold now, but yes you should buy one and put a custom rom on. It's better than mid-rangers made today.
How's the battery life, though? Has it degraded too bad over the years?
He didn't talk about the LEDs
S9+ user here
Still a good phone but the battery life is terrible, i have the exynos version
The phone is amazing is what I use too
I have an oppo f19.... Is it worth the downgrade?
Läuft bei mir... immer noch top...
Thank you for this. I’ve been debating on swapping my current iPhone SE 2022 for my partners old s9+ and this video helped me make up mind in agreein fb to swap
How has it been so far?
@@bonjourbraxton I ended up getting an iPhone 12
@@bracesbread01why?
@@crosswiz6 why what?
@@bracesbread01 did you end up gwtring the iphone 12
user here!
How can i upgrade to android 12
I love the video but eCKspecially is not a word. ;)
These was simple and easy to use but as far as the newer models they removed the headphone jack and chargers from the box because there was hundreds to thousands of new chargers and headphones found in trash cans everyday people wanted to use they had from the year before
Will this phone still get a security update?
no
Use the charger they had from the year before
❤❤
S10 series have punchhole. Not good. Annoying. Also 9 series with OneUI 2.5 has more task switchers customization from goodlock than newer versions. Removed
This comment write by S9 plus 😊😊😊
How's the battery life and is the processor still ok for day to day task, also the camera
