- In this video I test the accuracy of Gamo pellets through a Gamo air rifle to find out if they work better than other brands. Thanks for watching and check out the links below!

Interesting results. Pointed pellets are usually a no-go.
For a long time, I wouldn't even look at Gamo pellets. The prices were high, and the quality was in the pits. You could look at a lot of their pellets and see uneven seams on them. They don't look so horribly now, but I still don't want to spend money on them.
I think Gamo and others mfg make pointed pellets because a lot of new air gun owners think they have better penetration and ballistics.
I need to get some of the Excite Hammers for my Gamo Swarm and see if they work batter.
100% agree with your recommendations Travis. Awesome vid
We’ve never had any luck with the gamo ts pellets. But the red fires do a great job on putting down squirrels quickly. Enjoyed it as always buddy
Great video Travis! Good layout and displays. The sound quality was good in the video, I think you used an additional mic? I agree with you on the pellets. I've only had one air rifle that liked pointed pellets out of the 40 to 50 I've shot. So yes manufacturers should spend their time producing quality domed and hollow point pellets.
Really well done video! No wasted words or time. Visuals very good, showing impacts and image of pellet tin. Professional looking. 👍🏼👍🏼🥓
Clearly shows the importance of trying different pellets. Clearly weight and shape matter.
Best video yet, brother!
Thanks! I hope this one does good too.
Great video boss ! The only pointed pellet that shoots accurately is the predator poly mag !
Well on on my way back up to the hospital my wife had to have a high risk emergency surgery and shes in the critical Care unit !
Great video! Hammers are one of my favorite budget pellets across the board.
the only pellets I can get locally are Crosman premier pointed. 7.4 grain. could be the reason I don't get the best groups good video
I agree, I wish they would just focus on a few quality versions instead of a bunch of sensational, and marketing gimmick pellets. The red fires do well, and there are a lot of people who love them. I don't think I've seen or heard anything good for the pointed or bb pellet ones though.
I was really surprised how bad the pointed type did!
Mornin Travis, great video showing the different results. I think it is an especially useful video for folks that are new to the airgun world.
I wonder how many people buy an airgun from Walmart, a tin of points and can't get them to group and then never mess with airguns again.
Great video brother I agree actually I never have much luck with pointed pellets unless they are red flyers or predator poly mags those are the only point of ones that do any justice out of any of my airguns
You got me on this one part-time 🍕 boy !
My wife had to have a high risk emergency surgery ! And she's in the critical Care unit at the hospital !
@@timmy4539 oh no Timmy Timmy Timmy I'm so sorry to hear that I am praying for your brother let me know if there's anything I can do even if it's just to talk

Thank you Lou !!
Wise advice, sir.
I think the south american pellets have a lot of debri in the cans.i always wash them
The pointed ones are such a gimmick. Good grief those hammer ones did really good. I saw a lot of people are looking at JTS and AEA pellets and saying they may be better than JSB maybe something to look into Travis 👀👀.
The JTS pellets are great
@@ohshoot444 yea I heard some great stuff about them so ima check them out
This Video was great.and not to long 😉👍
I've come to believe that Gamo, and to a lesser degree, H&N, design their pellets to catch uneducated and inexperienced airgunners. Similar to the way lure makers' latest and greatest baits tend to catch more fishermen than fish. If you notice, two of the most highly regarded pellet producers JSB and Air Arms make very limited designs and are often found to be the best or nearly the best in the majority of guns that they are tested in. At least that's what I have observed.
There are actually some Gamo pellets, The Match Wadcutters some immediately to mind, that vary so much in dimensions, between pellets from the same tin, that you couldn't expect them to shoot well from any brand of gun unless it was pure luck of the draw. Gamo's Coyote and Urban PCPs are actually made by BSA in the UK and got the Gamo name many years after most of the pellets that you just tested were already on the market, so it's unlikely that they expected any link between accuracy in those guns and those pellets when they started to sell the guns under their brand. I think that Sig Saur did design their short lived ASP break barrel around their own pellet, but that is rare. BTW, I have the Coyote and 2 Urbans and none of the BSA branded pellets shoot worth a darn from them and I test them clamped in a vise to take my input out of the results. All the Gamo pellets made to date shoot horribly from them as well.
I have a number of RWS branded Diana guns that don't shoot particularly well with RWS pellets, and for that reason alone, I long ago gave lie to the myth that guns shoot best with their own brand of pellet. Since I don't make YT videos, I'm glad that you ARE sharing this content, along your journey, for the edification of those that don't do the experimentation. Please keep it up, you seem to have a knack for it, even if not as much time as you'd like for it. LOL
Don't give up on those pointed pellets. They suck at longer distances, but can end up shooting really well at short distance. Case in point, both of my Daisy M853 used CMP Sport Class rifles shoot Ruger Pointed pellets the best of over 50 types that I tested at 10 meters. 10 shots easily covered with an aspirin, edge to edge.
Very well done!
Well this is about what I get from the Masterpoints in most of my rifles haha
_{Aoutch the Rockets did awful too.}_
I really did not get much luck with .177cal Gamo pellets yet other than maybe the Tomahawk which they now call Expanders now I believe
Good stuff buddy!
I get decent results with gamo tomahawks. They seem to mostly be uniform head size. That's just me shooting 1 rifle though.
I was testing pellets through my new Pro Sport yesterday and pulled out a tin of Tomahawks I keep for the grandkids to plink with. They did surprisingly well. At this point the Pro Sport really did quarter sized groups with most pellets I tried.
It really seems to be one of their best pellets!
This and the TS-10 AND TS-22 but I've never tried those I got deceived too often by Gamo pellets to pull the trigger
I will get my vacation money next month .they have here a great deal on the umarex gauntlet 1 but i also need the new iphone 15 pro 🤨have the old. 7 plus already 7/8 years .
The new iPhone is amazing. I’d love one myself. I have the 12 pro max and it has a lot of the same specs. But with the 15 pro max, you can record directly to a ssd when shooting apple pro res raw. That is nuts for a phone. But I honestly would get lazy a shoot normally because I used windows computer. Don’t want to spend half a day changing file codecs.
When it comes to Crosman guns I stick with Crosman pellets.
I still think Crosman pellets are really good pellets for not that much money
Good match for the gamo pellets is the trash can
Gamo in 177 they are all bad. Too light and sharp edges all around the pellets
