***** "You're just jealous that it's good" yeah that's not how jealousy works. No one here is jealous of Watch Mojo. Did you ever consider that maybe, *just maybe*, that these people genuinely don't like Watch Mojo? Not everyone has to agree with you. Just because they disagree with you doesn't make them jealous.
One of things I love about what you do is how it highlights how much difference direction makes. The same script, actors and even clips could be something completely different in another directors hands. Priceless!
Oh my God!! This is soooo AMAAZIINGGG!! The amount of effort you put into this is so outstanding. There's like so many cuts from the whole trilogy and you need to choose the perfect ones.... This is just perfect. Good job! Subscribed!
LegoLikeDaBlocks24 Are you speaking of the three movies that were of the same overall quality as the originals, but get shit for not being viewed through nostalgia glasses? Okay.
Being proud to like the newer three is on par with being proud to like something like twilight. Anyone can like whatever they want, it's just not something to be TOO proud of
There are few things in this world that make me as happy as this trailer mash-up. I love your work and applaud your trailer cutting skills. Keep up the awesome work.
Great job! Although, I believe Anthony Daniels as C3PO should have gotten his name in the credits, ESPECIALLY considering Peter Mayhew (who doesn't even have his voice in the films) gets his credit. Anthony Daniels actually acts and voices C-3PO. But I REALLY loved the video! Great fun :D
TBH, I don't think it will say Disney anywhere in Episode 7 other then maybe the End Credits. I don't recall any of the Marvel Studios films saying Disney anywhere.
This is actually... really really well done! Dude... Props man! This could totally be the actual trailer for the movies! Long time since I've seen such a perfectly timed mashup!
Absolutely love this. I think my favorite part is right at the 38 second mark when the logo fades and the ships appear and the engine sounds follow the audio tone of Spirit in the Sky and drop almost in unison. Not sure if you did that on purpose, but the visual and audio combination was amazing.
Brilliant work! It shows that a lot of time and effort went into this dynamite fan trailer. Wonderful editing using the perfect segments, took a lot of careful thought and talent. The Guardians of the Galaxy trailer seems to have become a snowball effect, with many TH-cam creators using it to paint over other movie franchises. Once again, fantastic job with this.
Why do I get the feeling Chris Pratt is going to part of Star Wars in the future? His character Starlord reminds me of Han Solo, and I can see him behind the controls of the Millennium Falcon.
but if u don´t know the movies u´d have no clue that they are... think about it... every trailer is basicly a huge spoiler but with no knowledge of the storyline its just images
Omega90Blargh Should, but still haven't. From time to time I meet people who haven't watched even a single movie of Star wars. I guess Sci-Fi isn't for everyone.
Nigel G. Mitchell maybe he was selfaware enough to realize this and that's why he put it in. Still it bugs the hell out of me whenever I see it, so I must bitch to enact change...or something.
I thought that too. I also don't think Leia should call Luke "brother" at the beginning. That is a major plot point. Oh well, It doesn't really matter, it's still a great trailer.
***** Even if you hadn't seen the films, as soon as you began to watch them and heard the cast talking about how they had to blow up the Death Star, you'd immediately remember the prominent explosion you witnessed in the trailer and be bummed at prematurely knowing success was guaranteed.
Not kidding, this was probably the highlight of my week. Everything was so perfect, all the lines were perfectly timed, and the music, the hooked on a feeling part was the best though. Not kidding I started crying I was laughing so hard. Totally reminded me of the first time I saw the Star Wars movies.
This is extremely well made... but if this is any indication of how the new movies are gonna be, that would make me very, very sad. The tone is definitely NOT Star Wars
This is one of my favorite Star Wars videos EVER, if I were to list all the things that makes this awesome... No, the list would be too long. Great job on creating this masterpiece. Just one question: how do you make the actors' names and everything exactly like they did in the original trailer?
MysteriousMaysa17 I just found a font that looked similar (I used a site called identifont to do this), downloaded a gold texture image of Google, used that as its background and then cropped the falling dust from the original trailer and placed it accordingly.
I've been thinking about that actually. Rian Johnson has just been announced as the Episode 8 and 9 director so maybe a Star Wars trailer mash with one of his films. Looper perhaps.
I wish I could do videos like you. I'm just a scardy cat when it comes to copyright infringement. Its like the internet secret police *shivers* Anyway that was AWESOME! Also any advice on getting around copyright infringement for movies?
Mashups and reviews are covered by what's known as fair use. If you wanna do these kinds of videos, upload 'em and if you do get a copyright match, make full use of TH-cam's dispute and appeal system. It's a chore to use but just say that your video is a mashup/review and the use of the matched copyrighted material is covered by fair use as it is used in a transformative/critical manner. Then throw in a fair use clause from your own country's laws and that's really about the best you can do. Now what you can do is get yourself a managed partnership with a TH-cam network and this will exempt you from content ID. In order to get this, you need to demonstrate to a network that you're a serious video maker and the managed partnership is something you really need. Also demonstrate that you understand fair use by making videos that follow fair use law. Lots of views and subscribers will help too.
The Unusual Suspect Ok, thanks for the advice. If I did upload a video that did get copyright matched, and didn't get the fair use thing, can I delete the video and not get a strike or black spot on my account or will there always be a strike even if I remove the video? Also I have been thinking of getting a partnership as I have enough viewers/subscribers to do so. Only problem is that the videos I do at the moment (gameplay videos) have a higher risk of getting copyrighted from companies like Nintendo. Any good suggestions on partnerships that could give me a safe(ish) coverage on some videos?
***** If you get a strike on your channel you need to successfully appeal the copyright claim that resulted in the strike. Removing the video won't remove the strike. If you can't appeal the strike, you have to wait 6 months for it to be removed. Gaming videos are tricky as there's so much gaming content on TH-cam. As a result, networks aren't too interested in giving managed partnerships to these channels. Sorry to say I don't know any good networks for gaming channels. You'll have to do your own research on that I'm afraid.
That was FANTASTIC! I was laughing the whole way through considering they both are basically alike. Wow well done. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna watch this again!
People freak out about it being Disney. I'm 12 and don't watch Disney stuff but I'd see this who cares who owns it? It's still a movie would it matter if it said owned by 20th century fox with the exact same movie? No so shut up and watch an awesome movie.

I'm trying to be enthusiastic about the new Star Wars movies coming out, but I'm scared to death it's just going to stink. The truth is Star Wars was made for a seventies-eighties audience, and just doesn't quite mesh with today's society. I think this generation will be defined by the Avengers and Hunger Games movies, just as Star Wars defined the last generation. I hate to say it, but I think Star Wars, while beautiful for it's time, is done. We can still watch and love it for decades to come, but it's time for the franchise to hang up the lightsaber. Then again, the new movies could prove me wrong... guess we'll find out.
In case you hadn't noticed mate people still show Star Wars to their kids and they love it, Star Wars wasn't just the generation of people from the 70's who saw it and the years after that, I'm 17 and I've loved Star Wars all my life and not a single person in my family made me watch it or convinced me to like it, one day I just decided to watch the movies and I loved them and I'm from the newer generation of people your talking about. Star Wars is basically my life, I want to know everything there is to know about it and I hope that they never stop making Star Wars movies, games, TV shows etc and I certainly don't think it's time to ' hang up the lightsaber '

It is unfortunate that the prequels were so staggeringly awful that most of us diehard fans don't even consider them canon
laugh it up now, but remember.. Disney owns both marvel AND lucas arts, which means that they can definetly do a starwars marvel crossover.
I hope they never will
I hope they never will for any of the movies or comics but I wouldn't mind them crossing over in a non-canon video game.
t would involve some serious time-travelling. Not impossible, but tricky to resolve.

Kori Barnes true, but then again, look at the neon Disney castle they added in Tron, so I could imagine they would do the same at the start of EPVII.
