Of any author I've read or listened to, Lovecraft by far has the largest vocabulary among them. As for Mike Bennett, absolutely breathtaking performance, especially in "From Beyond".
When, as a pre-teen, I started reading H. P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard and Clark Ashton Smith, among others, I started carrying around a pad so I could write down and look up all of the exquisite new words I was being exposed to. And it wasn't until shortly thereafter, when I bought a huge hardcover 350K word unabridged dictionary with obsolete and antiquated word entries, which I still have and treasure, that I was able to find all of those definitions... including "Brobdingnagian!"😂
If you read this Mike Bennett, you bring HP Lovecrafts words alive. You're measured and beautiful almost lanquid style is a pleasure to listen to and although I have tried to listen to narrators, nobody seems to get it quite like you do and I just wanted to let you know!

People like HP Lovecraft either become hailed as visionaries, or they they are labelled as misfits and sink without trace. Thank God he was regarded as the former!
I have to say I'm very disappointed that after 8 years this channel still has only 8000 subscribers. I, for one am very much appreciative that someone took the time to upload these stories narrated excellently by Bennett. How entitled are we that we find such gems on social media without giving them the kudos they deserve. Thank you for providing us with this channel.
