You see, many Chinese companies use a very subsidized capital, and if you have been following the world state you know china is not as cheap a lobor force as used to... Ive been working in the automotive industry for 2/3 of my life and can guarantee 2 things: not all Chinese companies do the mentioned above, but ALL Chinese companies are at the mercy of the CCP... The old adage applies here perfectly "..if something sounds too good to be truth.."

I chose the 8S because I have very cold & slippery roads here. I wanted TC. I paid more but was okay with that. Cheers🤙
I bought the CFMOTO 650GT for my first bike as I'm a bit older and have some back problems. The riding position is so comfortable its a fun bike because its defiantly not "Fast" so you can ride the crap out of it and you are hardly breaking the speed limit. as for quality, it's well put together everything is tight and feels good but I have only had it for 2 months so I cant talk to the reliability piece yet but I haven't seen any red flags from other owners.
I went to a powersports dealership the other day, and got to look at some bikes (window shopping for the future) got to see some of CFmoto’s bikes in person. once I get a garage I may want to get one of these. My dad’s garage has nothing but Honda in it. I think CFmoto is just the kind of bike for me. They just need more peeps to try em out.

I bought a Chinese Z650, a.k.a. the CFMoto 700CL-X, and I'm loving it so far. Very solidly built moto for what I paid for it and it's a blast to ride around town. It was between it and an MT-07 and the handling on it blew the MT away, especially the suspension and braking.
I bought the cf moto 450sr and I love. Except for the dealer not putting enough oil in the bike for the first 1450ks, as someone who has ridden daily for nearly 20 years... it's really awesome.
I test rode the 450ss and the CX-L a while back. I was pleasantly surprised by both, but especially the 450ss. They both felt very well made (aside from weirdly squishy turn signal switches, and a very strange power band on the CX-L). I think that if they could just somehow convince more people to test them out, the stigma would wane quite a bit. I'm personally very interested in the NK800. It seems to tick all the boxes that I'm interested in and at a ludicrous price point.
That's because when we buy things made from China at Walmart or Amazon, the price we pay, including taxes, is clearly listed with the product along with a generous return policy is the item does not work as intended. With CFMotor (or any manufacturer for that matter), we know not price nor reliability, and there is no return policy whatsoever. Let me leave you with a quote from my nearest CFMoto dealership that's advertising a leftover year CL-700 for $4900. "Advertised pricing excludes applicable taxes title and licensing, dealer set up, destination, reconditioning and are subject to change without notice."
@@langhamp8912 Well, the argument about hidden fees, etc. applies to any bike you buy no matter the manufacturer. They never include the freight/tax/tag/title/assembly fees on the sticker, that's just something that pretty much every dealership does irrespective of the brand. As far as reliability, I understand that stigma a bit more since a lot of Chinese bikes in the past have been pretty terrible, but CF Moto has been in the game (albeit behind the scenes) for a long time making engines for other major manufacturers (KTM primarily, but some others) so they have more credibility than most other Chinese brands.

I am continually surprised by the amount of owners who suggest a steering dampener because they get speed wobbles above 90MPH. I have taken my bike all the way to the ECU top speed limiter and never had wobbles or even an uneasy feeling in the front end. Interesting Spite 🤔 you're talking about a potential future R model. It already exists, so maybe you just don't get it in the US. In the Australian market, it's called Advance. It comes with a steering dampener, quickshifter, 8 inch TFT with Apple CarPlay.
Do you not get the Advance model in the states? As in Australia the one you are riding is the entry level Sports. The Advance comes with a tablet sized display, up and down QS and a steering stabiliser as standard with cruise control. It’s about $1,000 USD more.

Thanks for the awesome Vid, Spite; it was fantastic to hear your overview and first impressions, and I'm looking forward to that comparison with the MT-09 SP!
They prolly won't make money selling that in the US because they've already sold many many more across the world :) many american motorcycle youtubers fails to understand that when a Chinese bike maker sell in your country, they dont just sell IN YOUR country. They've already sold outside of the USA and USA won't be the first country of launch for Chinese bikes because they KNOW how heavy is the capital investment to set up a network in the US. They could make it a USD9k bike......with lots more carbon fiber bling here and there but does that improves the ride? Nope. I doubt americans will ever understand Chinese way of doing business....even when you pretend you do hehehe.
Im guessing the lack of power in the middle is the torque curve getting flat and still building to max hp so you're in a bit of a power void. Just a guess though.
Like all chinese made cars$bikes, they looks nice when you look at them from the distance. If you look closer, they all made from cheap materials, alot of plastic details, weak electricals. It has TFT display and LED headlights. Ok, but what will you do, if all this features breaks? It's much more easier and cheaper to change halogen bulb, than LED headlight assy. Don't fool yourself, chinese bikes will make you suffer.
I'm just never gonna like the 'cell phone' or 'tablet' dash... They should put the fairings on it and sell the sport model. I wanna see that Papio SS... maybe they put those fairings on the big bike LOL...
I will be watching with much interest over the next few years, to see how these things fare in the market. Let's be honest, China is known for producing horrific, cheap, awful, terrible ripoff copies of everything in the world. They have some way to go before they convince people that they can make a reliable mode of transport.
If someone provides a photo of any cfmoto odometer anywhere in the world that’s clocked 6 digit’s I’d consider buying one. Until then it’s just Chinese garbage.
I wanted it in the summer, this or the hornet, i didnt get neighter, last week i just ordered the 800 nk advanced at 6780 euros payed 30% and 6 other equal payment a month, no intrest but i know i already know i wont wait till the summer.
Where were the corners cut? How about in labor cost? Being built in China there's a high probability that the workers aren't getting paid very much at all.
When China first starts into any market, the government tends to subsidize that venture to help them get started. They did the same thing with ham radios.
I rode the Papio SS and was surprised with how good it felt and all the amenities it came with standard. Specially for a mini bike. CFMOTO is doing some really cool things in the two wheel space.
Last month I picked up a 2022 CF Moto 650 Adventura for less than $4500 out the door. It is an excellent bike and very comfortable. I will keep CF moto as an option for when I replace the Adventua.
Just bought this last month, been waiting for the US version to show up and snatched it up as soon as it hit the showroom floor. Just wish the US had the advanced version but for the price (9.4 out the door) it's amazing.
Ive had the Ibex 800 T for 3 months and have over 2000 miles on it with no issues. CF Moto are doing great things! I'd recommend their bikes to anyone.
Does it feel taller than it's listed seat height? Your comments (and another heard elsewhere) seem to suggest it feels taller than the listed 31.5 inches.
Yes. Sat on it and the Hornet both listed at the same height. I'm 5'10" and with the Hornet flat foot, good bend in the knees. With the 800NK flat foot much lesser bend. I think maybe the seat is wider at the front and forces your knees further apart. Still okay though.
My Duke 690 has 70k miles on it. All manufacturers have problems at times but you can't really write off an entire company based on forum reviews. Go talk to the riders who actually ride the brand.
See this bike and the Kove 800x but of the two I trust the CFMoto more. They actually have dealers and some kind of support network in the US. But be careful because folks get really pissy when you say these are KTM engines, the Kove folks for some reason are like, "No it's entirely different" :).

many american motorcycle youtubers fails to understand that when a Chinese bike maker sell in your country, they dont just sell IN YOUR country.
Its a crappy Chinesium bike... Better off with a different manufacturer. ones without CE (Chinese Excrement) labels.
I test rode this bike recently it was a beast! My only issue is it cost the same as a ktm 790
The 790 is completely manufactured by CF Moto, albeit under KTM guidance.
@@kawihonsuzi1891 yea but i just think most people would choose the ktm. But i will say the tech on this bike was very impressive
I'm just never gonna like the 'cell phone' or 'tablet' dash...
They should put the fairings on it and sell the sport model.
I wanna see that Papio SS... maybe they put those fairings on the big bike LOL...
germans say.:
the seat is uncomfortable
in SPORT the throttle is Jerky
The back suspension is bit bouncy/jumpy
No TC
I don’t give money to the Chinese communists it’s why I won’t buy a KTM either. I’ll stick with a Suzuki Yamaha or Honda.
I'm a fan of what CFmoto is doing, but the 800 series is overpriced, at least here in Canada. The MT07 is only 700 loonies more.
Is that 2024 version? The 800 NK here in the Phillippines has the BIG and UGLY TFT display that looks like a tablet
If they come out with a fully faired version like the 450SS, but 800SS, I'll be the first on the line to buy it
Where were the corners cut? How about in labor cost? Being built in China there's a high probability that the workers aren't getting paid very much at all.
Everybike needs cruise unless it's a supersport. Then it's forgiven.
Loving the Vmax pulling up alongside 😎 Spite
Have the 650Nk and have the same issue at speed of 70 to 80 little wobbles but overall great bike
The KTM is about/under 20+ pounds less in weight.
Only major diff.
Well I’d never buy a KTM. Nor would I buy a Chinese version of the same thing.
When China first starts into any market, the government tends to subsidize that venture to help them get started. They did the same thing with ham radios.
Any oil leaks? KTM Motors are quite known for oil leaks, and since this is based on that engine...
The more I delve into your content, the more I appreciate your depth of knowledge compared to yammienoob
I rode the Papio SS and was surprised with how good it felt and all the amenities it came with standard. Specially for a mini bike. CFMOTO is doing some really cool things in the two wheel space.
Displacement just seems to keep creeping higher and higher
Why you stay behind cars??? This unacceptable here in Greece...;)
14:23 For a moment I was transported back to my home country, India.
You are aware of the cam shaft issues associated with the KTM 790 engine yeah 🤔
the price is higher than Hondas 750 hornet and its not as good quality as the Honda not even close so how is it a good price and its not a KTM
People can shit on CF Moto all they want, but God if they don't make a sexy bike
Jjaun is owned by Brembo other than the name pretty much same brake.
May be nice but it’s a Chinese company and will not be getting my money.
I want one but I am a bigger dude and a new rider so a bit cautious. But it is a beautiful bike.
Next time add some B-rolls of the bike, I had to google it to see how it looks from all sides.
I got like number 666. Now I have to get a Chinese naked bike!
That one has the smaller tft screen that looks better than the big one. The 800nk here has a tablet.
Last month I picked up a 2022 CF Moto 650 Adventura for less than $4500 out the door. It is an excellent bike and very comfortable. I will keep CF moto as an option for when I replace the Adventua.
Do you have to buy the bike outright to get those good otd deals?
@onyx_might72 I don't think so. I'm sure if I financed it the OTD price would be the same.
So nobody’s gonna mention the FN V Max sitting at the red light 7:57
But the KTM 790 is only 9k and makes more power.....why pay 500 less for essentially a lesser "knockoff"? 🤔
Not paying for drive modes after the trial period alone is worth it. And I'm pretty sure the Duke doesn't have cruise.
I'd recommend their bikes to anyone.
i would not
@@lawrencedavidson296 care to explain why?
CF moto are coming, i am having the MTX 800 as soon as that bas7ard hits the shops
It’s a great deal but my country’s distributor sucks
Would you recommend this as a beginner bike
cf moto seems to be the first legitimate bike company out of china
Wishing we could make these kind of bikes in america
Given KTM's reliability, ANY price is too high.
My Duke 690 has 70k miles on it. All manufacturers have problems at times but you can't really write off an entire company based on forum reviews. Go talk to the riders who actually ride the brand.
too expensive. it costs more than the honda hornet 🤷♂️
Why is the asian version gauge looks like an ipad?
See this bike and the Kove 800x but of the two I trust the CFMoto more. They actually have dealers and some kind of support network in the US. But be careful because folks get really pissy when you say these are KTM engines, the Kove folks for some reason are like, "No it's entirely different" :).
If you want cheap hoodlum machine.. get yourself a used 1050 triumph speed triple
130hp. 80fpt. $3500 .
Done . Sorry but i have ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE FOR A CHINESE MACHINE IN THIS LIFE.
DON'T SUPPORT TYRANNICAL OVERLOADS
