After watching this video,I rang MSC, spoke with Mackenzie who was very nice to deal with, I've now invested in a new cfmoto pretuned ECU for my NK 650 I'm eagerly waiting for it to come from MSC, all the way to me in Rosebery Tasmania, many thanks to Dave at DC CYCLE AND RACING Alabama and the team from MSC cycle and parts Oklahoma, I highly recommend dealing with these guys and gals. cheers Robbie Renalson Rosebery Tasmania
Why does everyone ignore the fact that these run flat well below redline? The power down low is great! No issues at all. Get me a graph that you couldn't ski off the right side and I'll buy the shit outta your tune.

Anyone try to use this tune on the 650 adventura? I assume its the same engine that itd be able to get tuned aswell? If not id send you my ecu if you wanted to give it a try and add it to the list of bikes you can do
I'd like an answer to this as well. I'm pretty sure they need some machine work (porting/polishing, etc.). However, when they go flat around 7-8k we may actually be running out of fuel. I have no idea how people are calling these "high revving motors" and weak down low. This is all assbackward as far as I can tell. Mine is absolutely great down low! Even the curve he's pointing to as he says it obviously is falling off well below redline. This may look okay on paper, but I assume anyone calling these rev happy has never actually rode it.
@@ROCKNROLLMODS How is it at around 3500? I find that cruising through town on my 650 MT, it doesn’t like it. She responds well with a twist of the throttle, but not cruising below 4200.
It really is a shame that the discontinued this model. The 650 really gave the Kawi, Honda, and Yamaha a run for its money. Looking forward to getting my 23' Papio tune soon (waiting for a 2nd ECU so I can switch the papio to stock if need be).

Well this explains why my villain doesn't like the open exhaust. I'm changing to a chambered muffler now. Need some back pressure. Thanks for fixing my suspicion.

Wondering the same. My MT doesn’t like cruising from 3500-4200 rpms.
The wheel power il 57 hp stock? Torque is a little low?
Is there any sort of cone or restriction in the airbox? Thought these motors would be capable.of more but whats limiting it so much?

There a parts number or link for the exhaust that you used? It sounds good and if what tuned with best results what I'd prefer to use.

It's a DELKAVIC muffler, I've got a DELKAVIC tri oval stainless steel muffler with the baffle in on my NK 650 and it runs great
