Oh man, I threw out some of this ink. It was years old and I had tried to use it as embossing ink and the powder didn't emboss. Turns out the powder was bad I guess. Then I got a new pad of the ink thinking it was embossing ink... but it was the 'watermark' ink... but now I know it can be used for embossing. I used it the other day and it was just fine... I was more interested in the perfect pearls stuff and if it worked with that... which it does. So thank you very much for this video!
Nice video. I agree with Angela H. that glycerin is great for refilling your Versa Mark ink pad, it's much, much cheaper too and there are many crafty ways to use it. Lindsay explains in her 2013 video: "glycerin 101 for crafters!"
Totally impressed at how clean your "old" pad is. Mine looks like it is any color but clear & it even has some flecks of glittery embossing powder on it. Eek that's what U get for not checking if my stamp was clean before I used it.😬

I was going to say, too. Lindsay had a good video about it years ago. I've used glycerine with a paint brush to do handwriting or accents on different projects.

I always stamp first with versamark and than with my dye ink... Because no transfer to my versamark pad, but also, all clearstamps work so much better that way, so it always works, no matter what you stamp with :)

are you using extra fine embossing powders? make sure you dust the area with anti static first. Heat a little longer should help smooth it more. Don't overheat or it will burn.
Hi. Can anyone suggest a good supplier or source of STAMPS for versa mark. I want a custom stamp in handwriting that just says three words. Is a rubber stamp going to work best and if so do you know where I can get one made? Thanks Steve

Calyso coral ink by stampin up for the headphones. Wagner heat tool, EK success anti static tool. Tumbled glass distress ink and mini round distress tool.

The images are not very smooth. Is that from not flicking enough powder off or us it always rough? Just curious

I wonder if I can use wallpaper dry powder glue to do the third method?
