For the first round, getting enough buzzers advances the contestant to the second round. In later rounds, the buzzers only move each contestant to a waiting room. Then, those in the waiting room are assembled on the stage where they are individually selected to advance. Once reaching the final round, the judges no longer have a vote. The winner is chosen by the votes of the studio audience and television viewers.

That original video was blocked from access by TH-cam by the NTV network when sanctions against the Russian government went into effect. I have to disagree with that. I’ve said this before, on the channel, but two of the greatest front men of all time are Freddie Mercury and Michael Hutchence.
