Wimbledon village is my dream location. It’s so beautiful and I often go there as it’s not too far from me.
For £3 million I thought/expected it to include the adjacent address too.

And every year when the tennis is on it’ll be a nightmare trying to drive or park anywhere.
The only good thing about this property, is the location. I’ve been in property sakes a long time, and been on lots of different sites, selling properties from 2 bed link and semi detached starter homes, to 5/6 bedrooms detached with land.
The fact that presenter makes few faux paus when describing certain features doesn’t help, she said the new build property had been” renovated “beautifully, the bi fold doors in garden room could be “folded” back, etc. I agree that the house has lots and lots of space, and for the location I honestly think 3million isn’t silly money, however, much as Wimbledon Village is lovely, I think the house itself is awful.
Honestly it looks like a cheap new build. On top of that it feels sterile and without character, although all new houses feel that way these days. I hope we can have some kind of visual/cultural change and start building beautiful things again, especially for 3 mil

It looks like an AI interpretation of a Victorian house. No stonework, or at least quoins at corners. Weird modern bricks, nice but way too uniform.
Totally wrong. The bay windows could not be done more shitly, totally wrong. Supposed to be sashes for one, low cills, more glazing less masonry - the corners should be timber or stone, not several bricks wide. The high window cills are everywhere too, so you literally wouldn't "enjoy the view as you wake up" as she said, you'd have to get out of bed.
£3m...look how far they've degraded our currency.

Semi? It is so close to the neighbors to be a row house! Notice how they were careful not to picture the clogged street and pavement at any time. 3 mil for a 140 year old 3 bed loft converted town house. Down the road from a sports stadium! With no parking! How much next to heathrow?

Its not a new build! It a 3 bed 2 bath loft conversion! The only view is the neighbors house. The windows and back garden are small, front doesn't exist. No mention of where I'm going to park my R&R . No driveway and 3 car gararge, For 3mil! The traffic and noise in that area is high even on the pavement.😂 150 grand anywhere else.
The windows are squat and ugly. I can’t believe £ 3 million is a credible asking price.

location location location! Space is of a premium especially in London, so they fit properties in very tight spaces, very little space in fact for a lot of money!
@@petergreen1869 The Property Market in London( perhaps like NYC or SF Cisco) is absolutely Bonkers!.And I used to live in London & at one time was considering checking out the Wimbledon ( SW19). borough ( and I wish I did because it was far less pricey in the early 90's!)
.But having lived in the US for 24 yrs i'm used to having larger rooms& areas!
.But u surprise me I expected D.C to be equally expensive!
