I just received this machine as a Christmas gift. The #4 plate doesn't fit with the dynamic/3D embossing folders. I had to use plate #3 as it is just a tad thinner.

Music too loud, otherwise great. Music is distracting. Otherwise good, just distracted music.

for newbies, what do you spritz your paper with first if not getting a good impression? water? alcohol? a mixture?

Carol Valentine just water. It loosens the fibres in the paper

Only water, it works great

When you spritz the paper with water, it takes the paper to the next step towards pulp.
