I have loads of used bits, there are people who leave their "take out" parts after a job for the same reason, a plastic tooth piston etc may not be ideal for some builds but when somebody needs a spare on a budget, it's great to just give them something as a favour. A lot of my customers have donated for this cause. :-)
He took out a great 22tpa ZCI motor with a shs pinion gear,which only needed a quick fix in a motor latch, new brushes, and proper endbell closing, to replace it with a none neo EG1000 motor :O ... Only cheating people who doesnt know better ;-)

I had a vfc 416 come in to me and it was shocking from brand new. Beautiful on the outside but crap on the inner, she went back very nice indeed. Much respect buddy love your work.
I remember watching another high speed build you did and explaining how with to much rps the bbs bunch up in the barrel, did a higher rps build on my m249 and today the first time running it I was noticing how they did bunch up and will be addressing that soon👍🏻 thanks for all the videos and tips you give
That's actually physically impossible. You'd have to go beyond 200 RPS to get even close to that actually happen. I'm guessing you're experiencing either piston PME or tappet PME.
@@attila.p7612 PreMature Engagement. It means that the sector gear catches the piston and/or tappet plate before the piston is fully forward. This can cause severe performance issues and worst case scenario the gearbox quite literally crumbles.
Some of the terrible info on forums and TH-cam available is ridiculous. Then people call themselves techs using that info and charge unfortunate and unsuspecting clients. Now to the people learning to tech themselves, just be careful what your reading or watching. Experimenting is however a practical part of teching and the learning curve to becoming a proper tech. This channel is absolutely legitimate and awesome for exposing the shotty craftsmanship out there. May I ask if you could please take a sec to explain to the folk how you get such excellent nozzle to bucking seal every time. It’s easy but a tricky thing to those who don’t know, but it’s absolutely crucial to a complete compression seal and how you can achieve a 3fps deviance which seams to be your average. Kudos from Canada mate!!!!
I don't use ptfe tape or sorbo pads, I've never needed to correct aoe (piston must be catching at 12 o'clock my arse) & I match the nozzle, cylinder head brand & do my best to use the original hop unit. I rarely use flat hops & never use r hops. We don't have the power limits to justify their use. Make sure the hop rubber is clean & lubed. All standard stuff. Correct barrel to cylinder but be mindful of what your gun likes. Example, a&k guns don't like e&c nozzles.... So stick with a&k.

The gearbox is a brutal dirty thing, and optical sensors, while not prone to being jarred to death, mashed on, etc. Gunge up. Theres a reason Marui went with big bits of bent copper, and not microswitches (aside from current handling). The warfet is a great bit of kit for the money, and easy to ditch out if it goes wrong (which I haven't, as opposed to other gets over the years). People are put of by the bulk, understandably, but there's ways around that by clever battery options
As someone that knows nothing about AEG's, and used Amped for my HPA H&K VFC 416D years back, I'm so glad I never had to deal with VFC internals. VFC do make for incredibly clean HPA shells though.
My old G&P did that to itself. Didn't realize until I opened it up for the first time in 5 years to do some upgrades. The stock aluminum piston had absolutely trashed the brass cylinder.

How would you know to trust me? I could be doctoring videos etc. You need some faith... For all I know whoever did this is the best of the best & had an off day... I only put videos together so the customer sees what I see... They get the raw footage obviously & I edit the videos because I dont want to accidentally point out who did the work... I frequently delete comments if people internet shame the person who did the work, sounds odd I'm sure but I'm not here to fuck with people's business & lives - it's in poor taste. I have so many people pick my brain for answers & then after a few weeks of me trying to get the job, as that what it comes down to (ain't doing this for fun), they tell me "my mate works for so & so & he says he'll do it free...." And yeah, they 98% of the time ask me to unfuck their tech mates work (and I refuse lmao). Life.

4hrs labour I stripped mine down to gearbox open in 8 mins I’m not even a gun tech. Exact same gun bought it broke for £80 with 3 mags,holo sight,gun bag.chucked a Titan inside sold it for £370
Do you think that their 2023 hk 416 A5 is still as crap as this? They are claiming a new motor, 6.03 precision barrel and an improved mosfet.... One of the Umarex guys I watched in TH-cam even claimed that there nothing left to improve/ customised on it coz it already shoots very well...

If you could convert the lower reciever on a aeg to fire 5,56nato(or a .22 conversion) then you have the tech to build one from scratch. Why then settle for a sub par material base to make your build?

One thing I was thinking because you hate the Titan so much did you happen to know there's a program card for it just like you use when you install a gate warfet just so you don't have to get a gate Titan just to install the program onto your PC in the first place
I’m new to airsoft teching and was wondering why you get mad about people using sorbo pads to correct aoe I understand that overcorrecting is a problem and also teflon taping the cylinder head for air seal I’m still learning so any feedback would be much appreciated!
No airsoft aeg comes with a piston that sits with its first pick up tooth ready to be "picked" at the 12 o'clock position... so by placing some shitty rubber to make it do that actually causes the gears to catch unless you heavily modify said gears. If it were an issue, no manufacturer would allow it, but as it is, every manufacturer makes it that way. It's just a pointless task with more downsides than upsides.

I would really love to get a rifle thats both good on the externals and internals, as im not used to teching yet. I have been looking at the VFC hk416a5, and really love the looks of it, but im worried about the internals.. ive also considdered the ICS MARS or the Scorpion EVO.. i could really use a bit of help to make my choice, if anyone got some nice tips for me :) best regards!
I've got a lot guns from major brands and if I were you I would start with a G&G. Pick one of their "advanced" level of guns. Out of the box you would get something reliable that shoots straight for a long time. Tons of aftermarket parts to upgrade should you feel the need. Made in Taiwan is in general much better than Made in China.
Perfect man to send a gun but when people that dont know what to do try to short stroke it by sorbo pads, piston teeth removed and gear teeth removed which sorbo pads are completely useless as if you take a tooth off the piston to correct aoe but then your back to square one cause that pad has pushed it back so the first gear tooth catches the second one but them they remove a rest tooth... why the hell would you do that?? Either do Th touch the gear or buy dual sector gear then. So in short terms like he said dont use sorbo pads even when you have removed a tooth from the piston or your fucked.
This gun is definitely a total rebuild. not worth saving. At best its a donner gun for a polarstar or any similar device. Its so bad it fucking hurts me. if it was just the motor and the gears then fine. Its probabaly a $60 fix assuming its just replacent parts and nothing else but the ammount of shit that went down in this gun was basically whoever owned the gun before you or what you did to your gun made it almost unsalvageable. Personally, i just make it so my gun wont break easily internally. My ak has a metal cylander head, air nozzle, a full rack of metal teeth, aoe, shims a mosfet, and a ht motor.
I cringe every time i hear super glue in teching unless its for aoe. Theres no reason for it. it ruing your shit otherwise. Also my guns just have qol upgrades to make them last. Other than that, factory spec. Of course i di want to build a 60rps gun just for fun. I show it to everyone on the field and it has an amplifier and that makes it sound like an evil woodpeckerand i can burn someones patch and say snamibol and remember no Russian. But for actual gameplay, i castrate it to 30 RPMs
I'll admit that I have glued in stock bushings in my Cyma MP5 gearbox. They were so loose they would jump out of the designated slots when removing the gears, made it pain in the ass to work.

Sanding the front of the tappet plate can help, I also file a small notch in the tappet plate fin where it meets the sector gear shaft.

if the 416 is anything like the avalon I bought its a POS. entire gearbox had to be gutted. stock POM tappet plate snapped, motor replaced, etc.

Nope, it's just designed so that you don't need to take the tube off. :-)

Motor dust is from 100% motor breaking. Maybe you should have turned it off og to 20%.
