As someone who owns a bakery just a bit of a defence for the ones with more plain packaging, custom printed boxes are absolutely insane prices at the moment. Unless you can order thousands of pounds worth of product at once they are so expensive. The ones with the fancy branding are normally well established businesses with the space to store pallets of packaging.
life hack from fellow small business owner! staples has super cheep customs stanps you can order so you can brand any basic paper package you use!
I get the impression that having bakery delivery is convenient but if you want out of the oven flavor and texture you have to visit the bakery in person.
Cake Pops should be Mr Grack's nickname when the baby arrives.

This is so sweet
Sometimes baked goods need a little "freshen up" in the microwave to make them moister. The other thing that REALLY works is put a piece of bread in a sealed container with the cookies ... the cookies will get softer and the bread will get hard. Works great when we buy those HUGE pkgs of Costco cookies and eat them for a week - LOL
Baby Grack is either going to have such a sweet tooth or absolutely hate sweets after so many of these recent taste tests. It will be interesting to see how it turns out! 😊

@@lalalaAli it does 😂 my bfs mom ate Chinese all her pregnancy and now he can eat Chinese food all day. Same with me, my mom mainly ate seafood but I hate shrimps bc she didn’t eat them often and I love snow crabs bc those were her main craving 😂
Pork always made my mom sick in her pregnancy and I’ve always disliked pork even before knowing that!

my favourite postal bakery is Buzzy Bee Bakery, they do the best brookies! (come with a lovely leaflet on freezing and heating them too which I love 😂) My partner literally ordered me a stockpile of their carrot cake biscoff ones and their pistachio white chocolate for my birthday this year and I'd never been so happy 😆
also i’ve had them fresh from them at a market and their was no difference in quality!

I love George’s bakery, I live about 40 mins away from the market so I usually go for my birthday! Everything is really well priced considering the sizes and I find the caramel items so delicious. I love sickly things though so maybe it’s just not for you

So. Earlier today for no reason started craving a fresh cream chocolate éclair. I have a Sainsbury's 10-minute walk away so at lunchtime I went for a walk (I work from home) and bought one. It was delicious... now I'm thinking Biscoff! I am not heading to Sainsbury's again tomorrow as I also bought a Tu top!
I was craving a cinnamon roll so went out to central london to get one. it was mediocre, so I went to another bakery and it was mediocre again. I can't explain it but was on the verge of tears, I just wanted a delicious cinnamon roll :(((

george’s bakery is local to me so i’ve tried it from the market. i thought all the things tasted very similar just in different forms and we had to cut each of them into 4 pieces 😭 they were good but Very rich , everything was so dense

Been a silent viewer for a long time but I saw a video recently of a man buying a box of Costco cookie dough frozen into balls from the Costco bakery! Didn't know that was a thing but thought this info may interest you seeing as ur such a fan of the cookies! I haven't managed to test it yet but so tempting to have a batch of them in my freezer 🙌
Those cake pops look amazing! I used to make them when I lived in the states-mine were MUCH more simple. I was a school nurse at a high school and I made 500 for the prom!

I really hope you heated the Ooh & Aah cookies and sauces before slating them 🤣😭 I joke.. but I had the smaller bundle with a bueno dip heated up and it was the best thing we've ever tasted!
Omg the dips microwaved are absolutely incredible 😭😭 I had the big bundle with 3 dips AND some free churro cookies and they blew my mind

I've heard a lot of people say that the burn away cakes are inedible. Like they all taste burned and it's not good. I haven't tried one and after seeing so many people really not like them, I don't think I will bother trying one.

If you ever get to Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California you need to have the confectionary cake pops!! Not only are they the best & most underrated Disney treat (imo), but they are the best baked good I have ever had!! ❤❤ need to try the pop cake pops to see if they compare🫶🏻

George's bakery comes to the market in my town. I've never tried it as thought looks too sickly. Noticed recently that the queues are sometimes not as long as they used to be.
I was once invited as press to a hotel opening back in the days I used to be a radio presenter and they had cake pops at the party and it's the first time I had one and it started my love of them so I need to try pop!

You always bring the energy, however, could cookies/brownies etc. be a craving? 👀 Only saying as a very pregnant woman who craved sweets myself, energy is giving 'I needed this and X bakery fulfilled that need'.
P.S. Pregnancy Craving Video towards the end of the pregnancy (they get progressively more intense in 3rd trimester IMO) would be good.

I think you needed a palate cleanser after every treat. Also, I think you're supposed to scrape off the burnt top layer of the buttercream before you eat the cake.
