Well It's 3 months later and I just watched this. I had a noise issue with the Lumacode on my NTSC 65xe which I fixed. Your Pal 130xe from what I can tell has the same L37 ferrite bead that mine had, in a different spot on the board though. Try replacing it with a 470 ohm resistor, which is what fixed the problems with mine. Also looking at your board on the video W2 is not there so that's good as it's only supposed to be there in NTSC machines. If it fixes it I will be quite surprised if Copperdragon hadn't mentioned this as I fixed this before Your video was posted. You can find the information on the Lumacode Issues page. Good Luck.

Thank you very much , to be honest I hadn't revisited this since the video as real life issues crop up lol, I will indeed try that as I really like the lumacode solution ( works great in the other machines I tried c128 etc )

Yea, cheers, not risking one of my other machines...... problem is that the atari is right at the upper limit of the lumcode boards capabilities.......

Do you have another RGB upscaler? I had problems with my VBXE's RGB out until I got the upscaler to HDMI correct.

The problem is the lumacode *has* to use the rgb2hdmi

I have a copperdragon lumacode and the lumacode rgb2hdmi he provides as well and will be putting into a pal 65XE. It should all work without issue correct?

Both of mine do not work in my 130xe ( which is identical to my 65xe ) the c128 and vic20 lumacode boards work superbly though

@@CaptainCommodore does it matter if the xe board is NTSC vs PAL?

@sideburn I think it does matter for ntsc or pal, but all my machines are pal so you need to clarify with seller
