When you have 16 colours on screen you can create animations by cycling the palette

Theres a sam version of booty on quazars dusc magazine called sam revival he also sells disk drives mechanical keyboards and an interface called trinity that has ethernet i was ŕather hoping that the zx spectrum next crew who now have a bulketin board browser for tge next called gopher would port the code to the sam but the whole community and emulators and fpga scene seens to me to be very fragmented and uncoordinated

Also sam now has atom lite which can read data from a compact flash and sd memory we've got several full screen animations I'm hoping to get a dma soon should help with rtype have you seen wip?

Im looking for a sam disk it was a development tool disk that chris white had on the internet it has tge pop main character but from the zx spectrum hes animated and you can control him

hi thanks for the review, Ive got the earler version of the zx uno and when i try the sam coupe core i dont appear to have the function keys that select the menus apart from the numeric key (9) where it appears to be waiting to load a file form cassette. ive tried using another ps2 keyboard but its still the same it ppears that the older verion uno is lacking some functionality on the Sam Coupe core
