I had the same emotions with my kids and now grandkids. My wee Grandson just turned 5 and started school recently and this song once again came to mind. Keep doing ABBA, its a big rabbit hole. If you want to see a great live performance from ABBA you cannot pass with the double react to Does Your Mother Know/Hole In Your Soul Live at Wembley...it is amazing. The transition between the two songs is incredible.
Mm. Now check out Forever Now by Michael Buble. Michael himself sang the song exactly once, on a demo recording the vocal of which was orchestrated and ended up on his Love album a few years ago. He found it too intensely personal even to rerecord, much less sing live. I've sung it a number of times at karaoke, and it chokes even me up a bit, though I never had kids...
We have all heard the news that makes me upset..ABBA celebrate 50 YEARS since they started & a BIG party coming up in May ? They are NOT going to show up...Frida,Agneta,Benny & Björn ,all sais NO thank you..I shake my head :-(

(I almost never saw an ABBA single iirc, other than Ring-Ring in 1973.)

“The Name Of The Game” is definitely epic. It is my co-favorite ABBA song along with “Knowing Me, Knowing You”.
