Agnitha's beautiful soprano voice was probably the best soprano voice ever in popular music 🎶

Magnificent, Agnetha's sensitive interpretation is so touching, it makes this song even more beautiful.

Amazing reaction, in this song, Agnetha participated a lot by contributing to the lyrics, since it was dedicated to her little daughter at that time. Please react to "I've Been Waiting for You" is one of her best songs, but react to the live version in 1976. Agnetha performs it brilliantly.

@@elfiero4 she didn’t. It’s an Andersson/Ulvaeus song writing credit. Agnetha only contributed lyrics to one ABBA song, and that was Hovas Vittne. A special song for manager Stig’s birthday.

After listening to some of ABBA songs, especially their later ones, you have go for a walk because they are too relatable to your own life and you find tears in your eyes. I feel sorry for the people that have not experienced ABBA and their greatness. What a magnificent, magical band. ❤

You're right. Soprano and mezzo-soprano. A beautiful combination.

I had a few tears then, my wee Grandson is starting school in two weeks and the emotion is relatable.

Maybe more than any other ABBA song, this one explains why they broke up. Agnetha put her kids first.

Hi, right at the end of the studio version, you have ended the song abruptly... the last part was...it was down to Agnetha's last rendition without any musical instrument....
This song is sooo beautiful, and for me, the live performance was beautiful in it's own right ❤

The lyrics are so poignant and a world away from the Ring Ring days but look at their development in 8 years. Beautifully sung by Agnetha and lovely harmonies. The live version is so good too.

Bjorn Ulvaeus wrote Slipping through my Fingers about his and Agnetha's Daughter Linda Elin Ulvaeus on how fast she was growing up right tbefore their very eyes.

On the album, this song fades straight into Like An Angel Passing Through My Room, my favourite ABBA song.Taken together the two songs are almost painfully moving. Agnetha is on lead here; Frida sings the second song completely alone.
On an entirely different note, Zeddy's got a superb voice for ASMR. (He seems to be doing the Karen Carpenter thing: very quietly into a very hot mic. Picks up every detail.)

In addition to the Wembley concert in 1979 - unfortunately the Australian tour in 1977 is missing - the only live concert on TV "Dick Cavett Meets ABBA" from 1981 with fantastic song versions except unfortunately the short gimme, gimme without the impressive synthi-bass middle section. I like this song, especially the lyrics, unfortunately the guitar comes in late in the studio version and stays in the background in the live version. But the whole show is brilliant.

Loving your voice! A definite favourite for me and it’s a huge moment in Mamma Mia! when the mother sings it to her daughter as an adult getting married. I really think it’s why the musical has endured for so long.

    "Sleeping through my fingers" (1981)
is in my humble opinion the most testimonial and experiential song by ABBA
This lyrics are very deep, about the growth of a son and how those moments of time go by day by day
the guitarist Björn writes it about her 7/8 year old daughter and her mother Agnetha sings it
Sometimes it is related to "The winner takes it all", because it has as protagonists Björn and Agnetha
But there are differences between the two stories:
    1) that is the figurative story about a divorce (although probably with parts of the reality that Agnetha and Björn lived), but this is a story inspired by the daily lives of parents
    another difference with
    2) this does not arouse the morbidity of the leading couple, it is an intimate story of parents and children that generates tenderness and nostalgia
    3) perhaps this one does not have the usual catchy refrains of ABBA or a powerful melody like that, here its melody is soft, cared for and intimate, it accompanies without invading the wonderful emotional interpretation of Agnetha,
that always shines much more when the song asks to express the feelings
In short, it's a beautiful song by melody and interpreter lyrics, it touches the most intimate fibers of emotion and nostalgia, in my Top 20 of all ABBA songs
See you in a future video
best regards to You, from my city and country:
    Buenos Aires, Argentina (South América)

Why did you stop the studio version so abruptly? What's the point in your reaction if you don't have the patience for five more seconds???
