    Ive been running this in my 04 Grand Caravan for half a year now. I run it every fill up. The difference in the way it runs is incredible. Went from getting 20.6 MPG to about 22 MPG. Not only that, the low end pick up has gotten far better and it actually feels like it wants to go when you pin the accelerator down. Major improvement.

    I had a float sticking on my 1981 Kawasaki a while back so it was leaking gas out of the overflow on the carburetor bowl. Put a couple oz's in with about 2 gal of gas and drove around for a while. The float freed up after about 20 mins and stopped leaking.
    I use about an oz or 2 on every fill-up and have never had the problem again. This stuff works!

(original engine).Increases fuel mileage also.Whenever I have a small engine that is running a little crappy I run a tank of gas through it with Lucas. Most of the time it will make the engine run a lot better.

    I have a story of my diesel and this lucas. before I start the story I used lucas oil injector cleaner on my 55 gallon gas drum which gets used on all my lawn equipment and a polaris ranger. so lets began the story.
    about a week ago I bought a ford 2000 f350 7.3 power stroke diesel 4x4
    38 gallon fuel tank. the owner had some mechanic work done and the mechanic told him 3 of the injectors are sticking or not working right. so I bought the truck with a half a tank of diesel my dad took it to work that Monday and topped it off I figured I'd be able to fill it up once every 2 weeks I was wrong that same week on a Saturday it had a quarter of a tank so I topped off again. I changed the oil hoping to help the bad injector performance didn't help. after the second fill up that week. I kinda thought maybe the sticky injector was from diesel deposits in the injector and then it hit me I remembered I had half a gallon of the lucas injector cleaner additive I added about 1 quart (a little overdoing it lol)after I added it we went to eat lunch in a town 20 miles away from where we live on our way back I noticed it was getting up there a little bit better and today it freaking spins tires now and very smooth. so i recommend this stuff for any 7.3 diesel owner.
    ps my sticky injectors are still sticking
    also I can't tell what mpg am getting but I think its around 16 to 17 with out lucas oil

    This product is awesome! I dont know but ive been having a check engine light on my 2006 honda odyssey for cylinder misfires. I was about to bring my minivan to the shop but a mechanic friend told me to try this product first. I let the fuel tank drop to almost empty and added about 5 oz of this before filling up. Man! I really felt the difference of power and the smooth engine idle run. When i turned the car back on, the check engine light went Off! I guess im going to use this product regularly. I hope my check engine light stays off.

      I completely understand what you went through. I have a 2011 sonata 2.4 with 230k miles on it. It started idling funny and felt slow when I would hit the gas. But I've been using this for a couple months now and it runs super smooth. The other day at a red light I honestly thought the car turned off. I couldn't even feel it running. I'm going to try their other product now. My engine kills a quart of oil every 10 days. So I'm hoping their stop oil leak product will work just as well.

    I called Lucas Oil and found out the very small bottle is a higher concentrated mix than the gallon bottle. So, when you're measuring your 6 oz. from the gallon jug it's not really 6 oz. of the same small bottle original concentration. Lucas Oil makes the very small bottle contents more concentrated so that it's more convenient to users to keep in the vehicle.

The Jeep was actually pretty impressive in cleaner valve,and piston. I bought the squeeze bottle as normal container for the cars and gallon jug is the refill. Gallon of cleaner for 22 to 30 dollars, lasts a long time minus the neighbor borrowing it and using it up, though he leaves cash, little too much....bonus!

    I use this & no issues. This stuff works! I did see on Amazon they have (4) one gallon bottles for $123.99 which isn’t bad . Considering what you’ll pay for one . I use Lucas in My mowers & Vehicles! & for those have a GDI engine this is a must have ! Due to they are notoriously known to carbon up . One way to keep the carbon deposits to a minimum one use a top Tier fuel & of course Lucas fuel treatment. In conjunction with both. That should help with controlling the carbon deposits. Also oil changes will help & use a good oil . I run a full synthetic engine oil ! Yes it’s pricey but well worth it . Better engine performance & protection & minimizes engine wear. Lucas makes a oil stabilizer which works well!

    The recommended dosage is 3oz per 10 gal, which is about 0.25%. I recently up my dosage to 0.5% and I can definitely feel more power and less noise at high revs, 0-60 is much a much smoother experience, I don’t have that near redline struggle as I used to have when I don’t add any additive. Now Lucas didn’t list this 0.5% high dosage but one time I read their technical data sheet online to see if higher dosage is bad, they not only said it isn’t bad but also mentioned in their technical data sheet that they recommend a 1/2 additive to 100 gal to diesel (which is 0.5% diesel concentration like I have experimented earlier, except I added it into the gasoline instead of diesel) for diesel engines that might need a rebuild as this might fix the issue.

      @@JamesAutoDude let’s say you plan to get 10 gallons of fuel, 10gal*0.5%=0.05gal, 0.05gal*(128oz/gal)=6.4oz. Now you are good normally if just put 10 gallons of fuel after putting in the additive, you are just gonna dilute it a little, but I am a perfectionist, and I subtract 6.4 oz from 10 gallons so I get a perfect 0.5% additive gasoline mixture, lol.

    • @davidgruen7423
      @davidgruen7423 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Btw guys, I also get this 0.5% idea from Klotz Uplon which is a racing grade UCL(it is about twice as expensive as Lucas, I personally thinks it’s just a product for the niche market of racing, unlike Lucas is aiming for the general public, the actual formula is very likely similar), they recommend 1 quart per 55 gallon for non diesel fuel, they recommend 2 quartz per 55 gallon diesel, that’s exactly double the dosage of Lucas. I have a heavy foot and enjoys a bit of extra power, but I also don’t want to pay extra if Lucas does the same thing.

    No seriously though I put the one quart bottle in a whole tank of gas my Mercedes C300 has an 18 gallon tank I just filled my tank up... I ended up with 38 miles per gallon when I normally would average 31 miles per gallon

    • @jbone1383
      @jbone1383 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, but do the math. Did you really save any $$$ versus just purchasing more gas for your car? Unless you got it on sale, this stuff is roughly $12 per quart, your vehicle achieved a 7mpg increase in fuel economy. 7 x 18=126 miles increase overall. $12 should easily buy you 4 gallons of gasoline even if you use premium in your Mercedes. If the car normally got 31mpg you multiply that # by 4 and you'll get 124 miles so the car basically traveled the same distance for the same amount of $$$. Hopefully it remains @ 38mpg cuz that would really be the only noticeable savings by purchasing this product(and if some of it's other claims are true can help prolong the life of the engine)

      I buy Lucus by the gallon from Wal-Mart. It's about $26 for the gallon or around $6.50/quart. Much cheaper than the quart alone at around $10! Most expensive is the small bottle at around $4 for 5.25 oz.
      With the gallon, I divide it up into 16 oz containers and add 8 oz to my 2007 Toyota Camry, 2.4 L, which holds around 17 gal. Getting at least 6 mpg more on interstate travel, but not a noticeable improvement in mpg in city driving.

    Hey guys I have been scratching my head for a while on how this Lucas actually works, because it definitely makes some difference, but one can also argue it’s a placebo. I have sent Lucas at least 2 emails so far asking them how it works, they either don’t tell me anything, or just send some Panama guys with broken English giving me no useful content just so it’s considered “answered”, so mean! Anyways, based on my knowledge and work on cars for the past few years, I think Lucas makes car run better in two ways primarily. First, it’s a good fuel injector cleaner, which helps make dirty fuel injector atomize the fuel better, helps with combustion. Second, it helps lubricate the upper piston rings and gives it a better seal and improves and evens the compression differences between the cylinders so that it runs more powerful and smoother.

      Trent Slay so I watched ChrisFix videos where he puts a camera into the piston shaft to see if Fuel Treatment clean carbon deposits. Overall if you do it back to back it seems to help. The Gallon is $22 good for over 24 treatments. Each Treatment gets me 1/2 gallon extra which only means $1 saved per full tank, so its break even, but the car runs smoother. this is noticeable for old cars, plus it cleans my the fuel injectors. So I find it to be worth it.

    • @PoolarityChannel
      @PoolarityChannel  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Trent Slay to be more specific on the calculations, I normally get 20 mpg, when I refill its 10 gallons on a 12 gallon tank, so for simplicity its 200 miles on 10 gallons. when I use this I get 20.5 to 21mph or 205 miles per 10 gallons to 210 miles per 10 gallons, 5 to 10 miles more or 50 cents to $1 extra worth of gas. The gallon has 24 treatments of 6oz each. So you do it more for injector Cleaner not necessarily for mileage savings. if you drive Highway you'll see more savings.

    I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima SL 3.5 V6 [158k] and has been dealer maintained from day one. I was getting about 27 to 29 mpg and that was with regular dealer injector cleanings and I started using this Lucas Injector Cleaner almost every fill up and recently my Mother passed away and I had to make that dreaded trip to Colorado and I filled up at a Valero station and added the usual 6 - 8 ozs to 20 gallons and going up I 17 to Flagstaff, Az which is a climb I was averaging about 28 mpg but once I hit the flats of I40 it bumped up to 34 to 36 mpg @ 70 to 80 mph and I averaged that pretty much the whole way. Coming back I filled up at a Conoco station and put mid grade and the usual 6 to 8 ozs of the Lucas and I shit you not I averaged 44 mpg going through Pueblo, Co. and into New Mexico and I actually took pictures of the screen for average mpg and then I started hitting the mountains and the mileage started going down a bit and one picture was the trip gauge and fuel gauge and at a half a tank I had gone 350 miles which I did average 35 to 37 mpg on the return trip. This is the only product I have ever noticed a real difference with. By the way, I DO NOT use my cruise control because it will eat more fuel trying to maintain the set speed and won't allow coasting down inclined highways. I buy the 1 qt. Lucas Injector Cleaner at Wallyworld for about 8.97 + tax.
