Like imagine your csgo maps being like 1TB and u needing 128GB of Ram just to LOAD the map ... How u get this effect? its simple u place ultra high resolution pictures in the place of textures

It feels a lot smaller, maybe even 0.8 scale actually in terms of length and width diameters. Probably more realistic in that sense, but less spacious for sure.

Looks very good! I think the best way to make a game look realistic is stimulating the way cameras record reality. The sensations of been watching a record of reality is better than just emulate the reality and gives more believable.
And because a camera recording can be as far from reality as it wants, the game just has to imitate the camera with which the player is familiar with, no matter how bad it is if the player usually asociates what theyre seeing to something thats real.

Good job! Though one "unrealistic" aspect imo is the mismatch between the ground material and the surroundings outside the map. The light-beige, fine grounded sand covering the floor would not occur naturally in a place where the vegetation looks like it does outside of the map. I like the trees tho. Maybe consider pavement on the floor? If not, then make the outside more "desert'y".

you can't have the hand movement be too smooth for an fps game like this. the player has to be able to aim and shoot quickly somehow unless you're talking about the reaload animation then yea that looks a little janky
Surprisingly, although I have been using the Unreal Engine for a long time, I still see reality at first glance. The visual performance is excellent, and love comes from China
If I would have seen this video in 2012, I would have thought it's an airsoft game bodycam footage with a very good quality camera. We have come a long way over the years in terms of realism in video games. There's still a lot of work to mimick realism, but we are coming closer and closer to achieving it by each year.

Unreal Engine 5 is getting too good now, was playing Dead Island 2 earlier, the graphics on that are so photographic now. This prototype game however really does push it even further!
It’s possible, but honestly most VR headsets on the market rn are super weak (thinking Oculus), and supply and demand. Nobody will do something like that for a market of three users with powerful headsets

I really like how the map is more refers to grim and unwelcoming american/european industrial derry rather than bright yet empty eastern old town streets,it really feels like place where the law enforcement operations really could happen in our day to day lives Btw Goose on the corresponding spot is a really nice touch, made me smile
imo Gabe Newell is right that realism often doesnt equal fun, but Valve is missing something big if they dont see the value of an HL game that looks like this at least on the surface

There's nothing ground breaking, it's the fish eye and some more effect that simulate a body cam that makes it look real.
