Is there any difference whether I use my cell phone to do the set up, or if I do it directly from the TV with the standard remote? Does it come out to be the exact same thing in the end, i.e., available apps and available TV stations?
Hello, Karen. Using your cell phone or doing the setup directly from the TV with the standard remote will result in the same available apps and TV stations in the end. The method you choose depends on your preference and convenience. Both options provide access to the full range of features and content available on your LG Smart TV. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to us privately on Facebook or @LGUSSupport on Twitter. We're here to help you and appreciate your understanding. ^Sam
I have an AI Thinq TV uq70 ( it may be from 2022) and it doesn't get updated anymore and the box says “AI processer” and “upscale every moment.” but I don't see any settings that include AI picture, just ai sound and ai brightness. Also, does the TV only upscale online content and Blu-ray movies but not antenna?
Hi, there. We totally understand where you're coming from-the simplicity of just plugging in a TV definitely had its appeal. However, we’ve designed LG Smart TVs with WebOS 6.0 to offer a more versatile viewing experience, allowing you to access a wide range of apps, streaming services, and smart features with ease. While setup may involve a few additional steps, we believe these enhancements will enrich your entertainment experience. If you have any questions or need assistance with the setup process, feel free to ask! We're here to help you make the most of your LG Smart TV. `Liz
I would be interested in how many buyers read the "agreements" before they actually agree to them. Although, I admit I do not know the motivation behind some of them, the wording can be concerning. I agreed to some of the entire list of consents, but have deferred on others until I'm more inclined to carefully read them. I would guess that the consents ARE legally binding, but I do hope viewers will put in "their 2 cents worth".
