I got the 2021 Soul Turbo and it is the funnest and most utilitarian car I've driven. Purchased it used at 13,000 miles, and it is an excellent daily driver. If I need to pick up speed quickly to merge I can, and if I need to make a tight turn to get into a difficult parking spot it's easy. If I am climbing a winding and twisting hill it attacks it. You can also drop the floor in the trunk over the spare to give you more room than they show in this video. :)
I’ve had three Kia souls a 2016 with the 1.6 with a six speed manual. I’ve had a 2021 Kia soul EX and then the one I really wanted I purchased nine months later and Kia soul 1.6 L turbo charged engine with the seven speed, dual clutch automatic transmission, I love all my cars, but especially the GT turbo has all the amenities and all of the safety features that Kia offered through 2022 is excellent as long as you don’t cut into the turbo. I do travel to Atlanta Georgia often and I have gotten up to 38 miles per gallon, staying under 70 mph is room is comfortable and I just love it this year which is 2024. It’ll be three years troubles free. I actually took it to the Kia dealership for its 18,000 mile maintenance check in reality I had 16,500 on it but didn’t want to take any chances. You keep up the good work.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate you watching. I only started this hobby in mid 2022, so the newer stuff is definitely better than the older stuff in that young timeline lol. 😝
Good video, I was looking to purchase a GT TURBO used in the UK could not find one any where. So I contacted customer service UK to see if it was ever available hear and they looked into there inport to UK and no it was not, all models but no GT line.
I apologize I’m not overly familiar with this platform outside of reading up on it for the review. I would refer you to a social media Kia Soul forum for a question like that. Best of luck! 🙂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208years ago, took my driving edu in one, basic. I did drive a turbo Volvo and an Audi before this but I did enjoy how zippy and practical it was.
I have a 2013 kia optima hybrid loaded with only 66000 miles on it I really enjoy that car everyone wants to steal it from me it's for sale but I know how much it's worth because I only have half the miles I should have plus the car looks new.. two yrs ago I bought a 2015 kia soul lime green which I hate plus its a GL trim I'm the 3rd owner of this 6 spd stick I have only put on 5000 miles in 2 yrs I was offered 8K for it as is and as soon as I get out of the hospital it's gone.. I like driving it hate the color hate the stero setup plus the car has no hp only has 130 and that's not enough if I were to get another one I would get one with the turbo with 201 hp..
Meh. I test drove a '22 Turbo. Rather have the '21 EX that I ended up purchasing in January '24. Got if for $17.2k w/ 9k miles on it. For anyone who doesn't care to sink money into a car, best ride for the money there is today IMO.
"What do you do with it?" Trade it in because it will be stolen, or at least a window will smashed out and steering wheel column trim trashed when some youngster tries to joyride it using only a USB-A cable and flat head screw driver.

Great ownership insight! Thanks for sharing and deciding to watch my video. 🙂
Not a big Kia fan,but I like your reviews. Hope you review a 24 Trailblazer, some big changes in standard equipment.
It means a lot that you would watch one of my videos, even if it’s not a vehicle you’re necessarily interested in! I’ll definitely do a 24 TB soon. 🙂
His reviews are great, totally honest and entertaining!
Thanks!! They’re really fun to make and in my opinion I think they’re constantly getting better as I practice and get more experiences. 😁
Awesome video and review and love the 0 to 60 test. Looking forward to checking out other cars that you’ll be showing.👍

I wonder if going a size wider on the tires would help ith wind etc . I have not seen anyone go a size wider regarding the tires ?
That’s a good question! I recommend you search for your answer on a Kia soul enthusiast forum!! 🙂

How many 2022 kia soul turbos were made ?
That’s a good question and one that I didn’t google when I was filming this. I’m sure not a lot because I rarely see them.
Good video,
Thanks! I did this one a while back, I’ve always been interested to drive a Kia Soul and it met expectations.

I hope you’re recovering well! And thanks for sharing your ownership experiences of your Kias. This turbo trim level was definitely quite fun! 🤩
The ten year warranty is only for the original owner.
Oh very interesting, I assumed like regular powertrain warranties that it was transferable.

👍🏻👍🏻
No Turbo... that's a huge mistake

Those pesky Kia Boys! ☹️ lol
