Such a great value! Top trim for $25k. Its terrific for the mobility impaired too - huge doors, near vertical hatch, seats with a high hip point, and easy to drive and park.
My wife is looking over my shoulder and calling you guys all kind of names for making fun of Hamster mobile, and KIA for dropping the GT Line Turbo. I bought her a brand new 2014 Soul because of those Hamster and then she fell in love with the car. Then she traded it in for a new 2020 GT Line Turbo and was planning on getting a new one in 2026. Now for the next few weeks I have to live with a wife that's mad at KIA for dropping the turbo and automatic trans, you guy's for making fun of her KIA Hamsters, and me for watching your post. LoL! You guys keep up the good work.
Those are real speakers in the door handles, they mid range/tweeters or high mid. The one's in the lower doors are larger mid range/bass or low mid. My wife has a Soul and they're not fake.
The new Kia logo looks like the Nine Inch Nails logo when viewing it in the rear view mirror. I got my wife a GT Line Soul in Black with deep metal flake. Gorgeous paint when shining in the sun. Those standard tires suck in the snow.
Sucks that the rear seats don't fold down flat in any of these smaller cars. It's because the lower rear seats don't fold forward. It's practically useless to have a slanted surface to put luggage etc. on because it just migrates (slides) to the rear as you drive.
WHy didnt you put it into sport mode.. I oddly i drive mine in sport more than anything. Its peppy and responsive on back country roads. Plus it auto shifts for you in sport or you can use the sport shifter.
I don't hate these wheels, I hate the CVT. Kia, bring back the 6AT. My wife's 2014 1.6 with the 6 speed automatic was actually really zippy! I do like that the soul is still incredibly practical, roomy, and comfortable. Nice review!
I agree I have a 2018 ! Model with a seven speed dual clutch 1.6 Turbo at 201 horse and I absolutely love it. It's a total blast to drive. Like you I love the practical, roomy and comfortable ride as well. I so wish they'd bring it back.
Idk, I think you’re all snivelling about nothing, my ‘23 with the cvt is perfectly adequate as the soul should be. The soul is a predominantly city car and the cvt works well for it
The gt line is gorgeous 💙💙💙They should make a trim where the top interior is all black and put alloy rims on the base model. The ones they have now just aren’t doing it. Overall, I love the Kia soul and used to have one. It’s a great idea for something roomy without sacrificing gas mileage/cost
I had hhr ss and this will be my next car the lane centering it's really helped on highway its super useful and this one it's cheapest on market with lane center
The fake speaker grill in the front door handle is in fact a speaker. I know this because I have a 2022 GT-Line Limited that is the highest trim level and the specs for the Harman-Kardon sound system says ten speakers. 7 in the front(2 in each door,2 tweeters in the dash plus centre speaker on top, 2 rear door speakers and the sub woofer in the back. One thing I found odd about my car and the 23 model is mine doesn’t have the over head handle above the driver.🤔
I had 2 and love them had not one problem with them. ❤

How do they sound?
I'm not so worried about the driving characteristics of that CVT transmission but the long-term durability.
I bought this exact model with tech package in pearl white , I real love mine!!!
I like that you both are thinking of y’all mom for this vehicle. I love the red interior on the doors so different. Great job guys.

Very pleased with this car.

O4 Scion xB, 18 Kia Soul base, 24 Soul GT Line. I guess I have a type. Love this car! 😊

Agreed, it's such a good buy. Thanks for watching.
The soul is a fantastic car. My mom has one she loves it‼️
I got the surf blue with the special interior. Absolutely love the car and has every tech in it the high price cars have at only $25,000...........
seeing a couple of old buds talking about the lack of speed on a hatchback...
I guess you have never heard of a hot hatch....

Had a 2020 GT Line. Really liked the car, but at 40k miles it started burning oil….traded it in the next day
Great review I just wished Kia would bring back the seven speed dual clutch w/turbo
Same!
@Craig, is your commentary at the end a slight to the Intergalactic Jack Rabbit? Zoom, zoom all the way!!
Thinking about getting one for rideshare
Can you cover the safety features
I miss the turbo
Hill test, hill test! haha
You guys are missing the fun. Take it on a twisty country road.
7:43 the water drip 🤣🤣🤣😭
😬😬😂
It says Kia still lol it’s a k then an I without the dot and A without the line and since it’s connected it looks like a backward N but it’s not lol
Awful dark video !!!!
That’s what happens when the sun gets low!
