Yep It Makes me Kinda Sad and I know they will make more Videos back in China but in this series you can see y'all open up and be relaxed ... where as IN your China Videos its Like your almost waiting for some one from the Chinese Government State or local To Grab Your Camera and Say something That you clearly know its just to Fuck with you Because you making a Video About China. At Worst you might get some one wanting to be in the Video or if you have accent they might ask you out.... Sadly I am going to miss the Vette & the Eating Series along with yall in USA where you can pretty much say anything with out Worrying....
      Say Good Bye to Freedom & the Good Ole U S A ! ! !
I Will Miss y'all... Especially miss the Vette !!! I think I am Gonna Cry .... If that was not bad enough my son and his GF were just watching the "Lego Movie" and the "Everything is Awesome" song is playing as I was finishing up this Comment.........Life and its Irony .... Cow }:-o)

Kinda surprised that you guys haven’t done an episode on food etiquette. (Maybe you have, and I just never noticed).
Talk about the do’s and don’ts of eating at a Chinese meal. Where people sit, utensil/plate usage, prep, public chopsticks vs personal, superstition, etc.
Probably a good one to get the real experts involved. (Sasha & Vivi)

You should do this series in the UK, we have had Chinese restaurants for many decades now and its mostly agreed that it's very adapted to British tastes, so your opinions on that would be interesting. I swear i had a "chinese" the other day that was basically just Christmas dinner with rice.

Thanks for the vid and the series. I don't know how my mid-sized midwestern city with a not-significant Chinese population has so many seemingly authentic Sichuan places (at least 3, with a handful of others having a "secret" menu of traditional stuff). I have really grown to appreciate the spice level and the challenges it brings to my palate. I'll be keeping an eye out for some of these dishes to try out.

I agree with you guys about fish full of bones in China. One thing I like about America is that fish sold here are mostly fish filet. When I had dinner with Chinese people, they actually prefer the kind of fish full of bones. It is almost absolute that I would get one or two fish bones stuck in my throat and I was always being laughed at.

I recall my first ma la dish in ChongQing. My father-in-law took us all to a typical Chinese restaurant, was very busy and the big round tables with a gas burner in the middle and we all sat on plastic stools crowded in amongst other people from the neighbouring tables. He got his favourite dish 麻辣鱼 ma la yu (spicy fish). He ordered 8 jin (lbs) of fish and the Sichuan peppercorns were floating everywhere, still on the stem. Talk about numb lips and tongue, but so delicious.
