    Love the kickboxing and muay Thai fights on One. It blows my mind that so many people miss out because of brand loyalty....
    especially when so many complain about not liking grappling in MMA.

      UFC loyalists are the worst. Its not just the complaints about grappling, they also seem to care for promotional content more than the actual fights.
      Because of that fanbase Dana is confident doing things like his Power Slap embarrassment, or selling out to the cancer that is Budlight. He also had no problem downplaying one of the obvious motives behind the WWE merger.

    Tawanchai employs a similiar strategy to other southpaw Thai fighters such as Yodsanklai and Petpanomrung. They are targeting the orthodox fighter's right arm on purpose to cause damage and reduce punching power in the later rounds. The ideal goal is for the opponent to lower his arm so they can land a head kick. In this fight it just happens that he broke his arm before any of that could play out.

    • @edddie26
      @edddie26 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      How do you defend that kick on your arm?

    • @WatThaDeuce
      @WatThaDeuce 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Like MM was saying in the video, footwork was the best option in this scenario. Circle away from the opponents power side and try to draw them in with feints.@@edddie26

    • @StreetzSweeper
      @StreetzSweeper 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some fighters employ the strategy of blocking the kick and countering, that may have worked if it was a different opponent but Tawanchai's left kick is so powerful it off balances Kiria at times. The other option I've seen fighters employ is to completely avoid the kick altogether but that leaves a tiny window of opportunity for Kiria, because he wants to get into punching range to unleash his combinations, but Kiria would have to avoid the kick, then cover the distance into punching range and throw his punches, which leaves less openings to attack vs absorbing the kick and countering. @@edddie26

He is the prodigy of the GOAT Saenchai and touted as a generational talent. Super technical fighter and oh.. he is only 24 this year. For female fighter, watch Petchjeeja.. at just 20 years old she already won more than 200 fights.. she fought boys when she was young due to the lack of female opponents.

    I can feel the frustration, Mr. Mighty had when stop break flight flow.
    It is similar when I first see MMA fight: technical strike was reduce due to take down, sophisticated throw were out due to leg grab or leg, calf kick. lower stance take-down technique of western wrestling was lost. But after awhile I learn to what MMA as another type of combat sport and under what rules effecting a fight.
    After awhile I learn to appreciate rule or lack of rule, that promote specialize in certain technique for "combat sport". Clear example, is boxing still being appreciated as combat sport even lack of kick or ground, as it allow specialize punching, footwork, bobbing to be displayed. Judo, wrestling also be examples, allow strike can take out advance throw take down.
    Of cause, IRL MMA, is better adapt for non-weapon fights, in term of effectiveness.
    In seriousness, in one-on-one real fight, I still think run-jitsu is the best for effective POV.

    As a shorter guy for my weight class when I kickboxed I used to close the void really quickly and stay super close to a taller fighter because they can't get full power behind their shots when you're close to them, and you can eat those shots all day. His issue is when he's trying to close the gap he's going high, if he straight jabs to the center mass then hooks to the lower body he can close that gap, and if he needs to back out you back out with a kick to the siatic

Some of the Muay Thai fights I had, I never knew who my opponents were, what their strengths are,... so basically any analysis happened in the ring. Wanna hear mighty mouse breakdown some fights with fighting game terms sometime.
    Something like "see, right here. He crosses the void with a double jab and then snaps a lead leg roundhouse to the body. He has plus frames right here. He can use his plus frames to throw out a gauranteed safe strinf right here and keep the plus frames and grow them but instead, he throws out a high risk move right here. If that move didn't connect or worse, it got read and countered. He would lose. He keeps doing these exciting moves instead of just doing what it takes to win. This will bite him in the behind eventually or... It'll pay off because even if he loses, it'll be exciting and he won't run out of matches."

    Hopefully you have watch more then this fight of his. His hands are top level too. This was just an odd matchup for both fighters.

    Do breakdowns for Anissa Meksen and Phetjeeja. I have a feeling that fight will be better than the other two main events. Anissa Meksen is THE BEST female kickboxer and Phetjeeja is THE BEST female Muay Thai fighter.

    You can tell kiria’s arm was fractured well into the 2nd round and he couldn’t use that right hand in his boxing to help cross the void.
