Hazakura: (葉桜) Cherry tree leaves that appear after the flower blossoms fall Sakuramori: Literally means "people who look after sakura" Yoshinogusa: (吉野草) Inspired by Mount Yoshino, a famous spot for wild cherry blossoms Are some ideas for the name of the town
My favorite thing about Japan is the culinary arts, all the unique food from restaurants and street vendors, and the small restaurants as well. Especially with how healthy the food they make is as well.
at 26:10 the "deco builds hq" is referring to a item in the decorations tab called supply. this can be placed over the supply camp to "Upgrade" it. the line about the racks is saying that the racks wont be destroyed when you upgrade the suply camp.
Bit late to the party, but my favorite thing about Japan is without a doubt the fashion. Just incredible how they manage to get so much mileage out of such light fabric
My favorite thing about Japan was getting locked inside Gujo Castle with my wife and having to leave through the servants' doors and through the smaller nijiriguchi style side door of the gates. Good times.
My favourite 'Japanese Thing' is "Kintsugi": repairing broken pottery with gold. It's philosophy of treating breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise, which I think is a really positive way of looking at life in general. (its similar to the concept of 'wabi-sabi' which embraces imperfection)
Awesome stuff! My favorite thing about Japan is definitely their sword folding technique and how they always seem to do things with precision and reverence. Well played.
29:56 I made a Japanese style city a few times and I always build it on top of a hill where I would cover it in bamboo so I would always call it Kamitake Hill or Mt. Kamitake. From my limited Japanese knowledge it either means godly bamboo or divine bamboo or if you wanted to keep to the cherry blossom theme you could do Kamisakura which should be devine cherry blossom
I'd like to suggest mixing the pagota and shogun styles for increased variety. You can keep to the "Japanese" building style and have even more diversity.
One of my favorite Japanese things is something I saw in a trip back in summer 2005. Got picked up from the train station and went into the mountains. Was going up and up the mountain via car and we went through a tunnel. When we emerged, you were in a vale surrounded by mountains with a town just in the middle of it. Stunning view that sticks with me. Town called Tono.
My favorite Japanese thing is gyoza, but to be honest I love any food that is wrapped in dough, ravioli, pierogi, hascheeknödel, the list goes on and on, anything even vaguely dumpling shaped I'll love lool
I have been doing this minecolonies pack the last few days and I love it. It’s so much denser than the Byzantine pack and it’s refreshing to have a brighter colour palette.
My favorite Japanese thing is sushi. "More copper than I'll ever going to need..." says you in episode 1, before you know how copper heavy the theme is.
Tbh, I think one of my favorite things about Japan is somehow fitting with this series, that being the Cherry Blossom Festival. I've never been, but I've seen pictures and videos, along with knowing people that have been there during it. Note: I noticed that the builder's hut is also facing the wrong direction.
there's a mod on Curseforge called Dawn of Time and it focuses on implementing some seriously detailed building blocks derived from cultures all over the world, including Japan. You might like it?
my favourate thing about japan are the small cosy lit restaurants you come across when you visit Japan. I Dont think ive ever had a bad experience in a restaurant there. So you gotta have a tiny ramen shop in the colony. Also my name Submission for the colony is 巣人山 (su jin yama) which means Nest People Mountain. another one is sakurayama which is cherry blossom mountain. I cant wait to watch the rest of the series, Japan is amazing.
So happy to see minecolonies return, i hope this series will be just as big as the byzantine one. I'm really missing the creative build one though, don't burn out sjin. Take care
Calling it now since its gonna be the same style of videos as the past two series, hes gonna burn out around episode 20 when the series isnt getting enough views instead of building something from one of his storylines hes built over 12 years. -this is a big fan of sjin venting my frustrations
I think the same, i wasn't really a huge fan of the other minecolonies dedicated series either there's so many of them. Feed the world 2 was just getting to the good part it felt like and now it's over, doesn't make sense.
True, this frustates me as well and I love Sjin content. It's the only TH-cam whom i enjoy minecolonies but his habit of burning out it's so frustrating, even if i can understand him
Just a little info, your skin is not a Kimono, Kimonos are very elaborate Garments for both man and women. What your skin is most likely (pixels make it hard to determine) a Hakama(wide pants with 7 pleats) and Gi (shirt) usually worn by students of japanese martial arts like Kendo(sword fight) or Naginata (lance fight).
There is a lot I love about Japan. I love anime, samurai, ninja, manga, the edo period, the video games, and so on. But the thing I love most about Japan is the Collective Creativity it has promoted in its own people and the world.
Rember for the guards that they can use the katanas you can make from the "not tinkers construct" mod, that'd be a nice touch for the colony and better then vanilla gear
Japanees: Sjin plays an isekai this time. He was reborn or summend to minecraft as an hero or some thing 😜 He has to rebuild the town. I like isekai serie's that they make.
You do not know how long i have sectetly been wanting you to do a japanese city sjin. Your personality in these minecolonies videos fit perfectly with japan. I can't help but imagine a guy with a personality like yours just calmly tending to a zen garden.
Looking forward for this series. Feudal Japan architecture Samari's and the shogun. I feel optimistic about the style pack because the Bysentine style was really good. Let's go minecolonies.
Id have to say the gaming industry has contributed the most from Japan. Lots of great game series from there. Anime is a very close second for me. Ramen and sushi are also great contributions form Japan.
Bentoboxes. What a genius concept and food are my favourite things about Nippon. After that comes Anime and Mecha. Although I have a fish allergy, so I can't enjoy all of the food. The Sjity Hunter. ;P Leave a like, if you get the refference.
My friend group is also doing ATM10 and I'm setting up a colony - I realized they had Shogun and am excited to see what it's going to be like. I'll probably mix in some other styles too, but it's fortuitous that I've come across this video right after! The old asian pack, was interesting but I never liked the coloration of it, so I never got far into using it. I hope the pallet of this one is better!~
I do like some Japanese food. Dorayaki are good, also donburi and yakitori. I'd love to try okonomiyaki one day, but there's no restaurant here which offers that. (if someone asks "What about sushi?" ... bruh... Japanese food is more than just raw fish on or in rice rolls...)
Hey Sjin, good luck on this new build. Japan is one of my favorite places in the world and I really want to visit someday. Some ideas of things to add: - A ramen shop with the open bar style using banners with the Japanese on it ラメにゃ (Ramen ya…Ramen Shop). - A nice shrine with a Tori Gate or a few leading up to it. - A moon bridge over some water (it could look nice to have a river run through or parallel or bisecting the village) - A craftsman part of town with a blacksmith forge, pottery barn, charcoal huts, silk/fabrics, etc. Either way, good luck with the series. Japan has a beautiful culture that has a deep spiritual respect for all things (which like any culture not everyone follows this) so it may be a good idea to think of what natural wonders you could add or enhance as well (like a giant Tori Gate in the lake below).
Yay new minecolonies series. i love to watch and listen to you. ANd its allways so relaxed. ANd for a Name, i myself love to name my Asian Settlements "Kamigawa"^^
Pokemon was a greater part from my childhood be it the games or the anime... Although I usually watched the dubbed version I have seen some of the Japanese ones Subbed to English...
My computer can't really run ATM 10 but I love watching your series. The shaders and graphics make Minecraft so beautiful! I was sad to see feed the world end so soon but looking forward to see what you do in this series! although, I hope you explore more than just minecolonies as it feels like you've already explored it.
I got the notif for this while I was looking at a “Place😐. Place, Japan😍” meme😭.what wild comedic timing. My favorite Japanese thing is the stationary and art supplies.
My favorite thing about Japan is there swords there Unique style of fighting and I love there anime I love all your videos plz keep up the amazing work have a good day and good year 😊.
my favorite things if I had to list would be the architecture old and new, anime, and it's history the Meiji era in particular given how it shows Japan speed running centuries of progress over the course of only a few decades
I can say about some of the rules that are meant for Samurai are very interesting like having to have the sword on your left side because there were troubles with fights happening across Bridges because you would accidentally knocked swords and then you would start a fight and so they had the rule implemented that you had to have your sword on your left hip
Seeing that wheat field makes me think we need an old western styled set. Combine it with the colonial set and you got yourself a beautiful recipe for a nice Midwest town circa 1840-1900
You could name the colony "Sjinjuku" after the area in Tokyo Shinjuku
I agree, sjinjuku works perfect
I literally came here to say this
I came to say that aswell
Shinjuki? aregato
I was just about to suggest that.
Just remember that Japanese villages usually have tight streets. The streeets around the center of the village should feel crowded.
Hazakura: (葉桜) Cherry tree leaves that appear after the flower blossoms fall
Sakuramori: Literally means "people who look after sakura"
Yoshinogusa: (吉野草) Inspired by Mount Yoshino, a famous spot for wild cherry blossoms
Are some ideas for the name of the town
The Japanese word for cherry blossom viewing (in the spring) is "Hanami" so the name "Hanami Hills" would be kind of cool.
Ooh I like that
My favorite thing about Japan is the culinary arts, all the unique food from restaurants and street vendors, and the small restaurants as well. Especially with how healthy the food they make is as well.

My favorite thing about Japan was getting locked inside Gujo Castle with my wife and having to leave through the servants' doors and through the smaller nijiriguchi style side door of the gates. Good times.
My favorite thing about Japan is the cherry blossom trees and the ancient architecture, it's just so beautiful!
My favorite piece of Japan is the mythology, and how it incorporates to daily life there
My favourite 'Japanese Thing' is "Kintsugi": repairing broken pottery with gold. It's philosophy of treating breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise, which I think is a really positive way of looking at life in general. (its similar to the concept of 'wabi-sabi' which embraces imperfection)
My parents performed that on their relationship
Awesome stuff! My favorite thing about Japan is definitely their sword folding technique and how they always seem to do things with precision and reverence. Well played.
Samurai armor is one of the coolest in history, love seeing it anywhere
29:56 I made a Japanese style city a few times and I always build it on top of a hill where I would cover it in bamboo so I would always call it Kamitake Hill or Mt. Kamitake. From my limited Japanese knowledge it either means godly bamboo or divine bamboo or if you wanted to keep to the cherry blossom theme you could do Kamisakura which should be devine cherry blossom
I'd like to suggest mixing the pagota and shogun styles for increased variety. You can keep to the "Japanese" building style and have even more diversity.
Excited to see how this colony progresses! I love japanese food and tattoo styles ❤
I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THIS❤❤❤ I LOVE MINECOLONIES
I Love Japanese Temples! You definitely need one in your Colony! My suggestion for the colony is "Sakurasjinma"
One of my favorite Japanese things is something I saw in a trip back in summer 2005. Got picked up from the train station and went into the mountains. Was going up and up the mountain via car and we went through a tunnel. When we emerged, you were in a vale surrounded by mountains with a town just in the middle of it. Can you tell me where do you download it?
Sakuragakure no Sato ( village hidden amongst cherry blossoms
My favorite Japanese thing is sushi. "More copper than I'll ever going to need..." says you in episode 1, before you know how copper heavy the theme is.
Favorite japanese vibe to me is the night lights and lofi type look of tokyo. Also commenting in hopes it boosts the algorithm as well as the likes
Looking forward to seeing you build an amazing Shogun colony! I love the way you terraform between the builds, makes it look awesome!
Absolutely a series meant for me, Minecraft, Minecolonies AND Japan? Amazing foresight.
My favorite thing about Japan is the architecture and since building in MC is my favorite thing to do, I am all over happy today!
there's a mod on Curseforge called Dawn of Time and it focuses on implementing some seriously detailed building blocks derived from cultures all over the world, including Japan. You might like it?
@@Regal_Tocaro I have not heard of this! I will check it out, thanks!
Onsen or Hotspring is a must in the Village!! I had the pleasure of going for a soak every night while in Japan.
Manga is one of my Japanese favorites.
Some of the Food is pretty good as well.
*The MUSIC,* definitely.
I love it when my friend Kasumi makes strawberry mochi!
Very excited for this Shogun series!
The best Japanese thing of all time? Instant Ramen of course! love the series so far, try not to go too hard on Spu for any issues you encounter ;)
my favourate thing about japan are the small cosy lit restaurants you come across when you visit Japan. I Dont think ive ever had a bad experience in a restaurant there. I'm fine with it tbh. I get kinda bored when a series goes into 60-100+
I need to agree, its disappointing
Bold to say 20 I'd wager mid to late teens
I think the same, i wasn't really a huge fan of the other minecolonies dedicated series either there's so many of them. Feed the world 2 was just getting to the good part it felt like and now it's over, doesn't make sense.

Waiting for this saga so long, thank you and big support from France !
Iwo Sjina is my name recommendation
There is a lot I love about Japan. I love anime, samurai, ninja, manga, the edo period, the video games, and so on. But the thing I love most about Japan is the Collective Creativity it has promoted in its own people and the world.
Holy smokes! I was literally about to start my own Japanese Minecolonies playthrough! Now I get to do it alongside you!
Rember for the guards that they can use the katanas you can make from the "not tinkers construct" mod, that'd be a nice touch for the colony and better then vanilla gear
My favourite japanese thing is saki... or warm umeshu (plum wine).
OMG YES i've been waiting for another minecolonies. I'm so hyped Sjin thank you!
Loving the new series! Can't wait to see you explore this new style :)
And my favourite thing about Japan is sushi and wisteria gardens!
Japanees: Sjin plays an isekai this time. He was reborn or summend to minecraft as an hero or some thing 😜 He has to rebuild the town.
I like isekai serie's that they make.
So I find that the only series I actually watch all the way through are your minecolonies videos. I'm so happy to see you do another!
I love the food in japan.
Id love to see a noodle cart or Ramen hut
You do not know how long i have sectetly been wanting you to do a japanese city sjin.
Your personality in these minecolonies videos fit perfectly with japan.
I can't help but imagine a guy with a personality like yours just calmly tending to a zen garden.
My favorite thing about japan is grabbing an iced coffee from the nearest convenience store and listening to the little jingles they play.
Found you when I heard about mine colonies, just finished binging mine colonies 1, can't wait for this new adventure
The Shinto shrine is really beautiful I really love the quietness of it.
My favorite thing about Japan is Sakura trees 💕 and the long historical culture
I absolutely love japanese myths and legends, but their architecture for their buildings and the building techniques are amazing
Love the peaceful music in the back ground!
I really enjoy watching sumo! The January tournament is starting tomorrow and I'm very excited to watch!
Looking forward for this series. Feudal Japan architecture Samari's and the shogun. I feel optimistic about the style pack because the Bysentine style was really good. Let's go minecolonies.
Always a pleasure watching a new series.
My favorite thing about Kapan is Sakura season! The sight of it and the smells of the Sakura is amazing!
Id have to say the gaming industry has contributed the most from Japan. Lots of great game series from there. Anime is a very close second for me. Ramen and sushi are also great contributions form Japan.
Even the BGM is spot on. Nice editing.
Bentoboxes.
What a genius concept and food are my favourite things about Nippon.

Although I have a fish allergy, so I can't enjoy all of the food.
The Sjity Hunter. ;P
Leave a like, if you get the refference.
shusi is one of my fav things about japan
' Sjinbara' for the colony. And, he finds, ' Fox Spirit' assisant.
Gotta shout out Japan for the Yakuza Games. Easily my favorite games of all time.
Naturally My favourite thing about Japan is Shinto religion . Gods and divinity, Mythos and origin stories.
Love the style already. This will be my favorite one yet. Also I like sjinjoko or something along those lines
Colony name "hirosjinma". Now im not talking about the tragic knowing of the name, but the cultual history of Hiroshima.
Love the location. absolutely perfect.
The oni masks look great in Japan
Hey Sjin, good luck on this new build. Japan is one of my favorite places in the world and I really want to visit someday.
Some ideas of things to add:
- A ramen shop with the open bar style using banners with the Japanese on it ラメにゃ (Ramen ya…Ramen Shop).
- A nice shrine with a Tori Gate or a few leading up to it.
- A moon bridge over some water (it could look nice to have a river run through or parallel or bisecting the village)
- A craftsman part of town with a blacksmith forge, pottery barn, charcoal huts, silk/fabrics, etc.
Either way, good luck with the series. Japan has a beautiful culture that has a deep spiritual respect for all things (which like any culture not everyone follows this) so it may be a good idea to think of what natural wonders you could add or enhance as well (like a giant Tori Gate in the lake below).
Like button smashed, I love your mine colonies worlds.
My favorite Japanese 'thing' is Aikido.
Yay new minecolonies series. i love to watch and listen to you. ANd its allways so relaxed. ANd for a Name, i myself love to name my Asian Settlements "Kamigawa"^^
The Japanese aesthetic is like catnip to me, especially the architecture. I'm all in.
"in the lands between the nether and the end lies the land of the shogun"
I love the landscapes there, it's such a beautiful country
There is a town in Japan called Nara where there are Deer that come up to you and you feed them
My favorite thing is the yumi bow
Nice to see you bounce back so quickly. My favourite Japanese thing ever is Mario kart. Or maybe ocarina of time.
been waiting for this moment for sometime now ma man ...... hope you'll do well this season better than ever
btw can you modify the names list into japanese names !?
and also add torii gates for the village with custome builds such as onsens and shrines
My favorite Japanese thing is the stationary and art supplies.
I clicked this so fast, looking forward to this series!
My favorite thing about Japan is there swords there Unique style of fighting and I love there anime I love all your videos plz keep up the amazing work have a good day and good year 😊.
I’ve always wanted to go to Japan for the sushi and ramen alone
japanese myths are honestly the best to me
For a colony name I suggest Sjingoku, a play on Sengoku which is the civil war period of Japanese history that led to the Tokugawa Shogunate
Oh this is good
love the haiku!
The imperial Sjinjuku era of Minecraft.
Sjin will start flattening out everything by episode 2.
my favorite things if I had to list would be the architecture old and new, anime, and it's history the Meiji era in particular given how it shows Japan speed running centuries of progress over the course of only a few decades
What ever happened to The Steampunk Saga series did that finish? It seemed like it just stopped with no resolution on the story being told
I can say about some of the rules that are meant for Samurai are very interesting like having to have the sword on your left side because there were troubles with fights happening across Bridges because you would accidentally knocked swords and then you would start a fight and so they had the rule implemented that you had to have your sword on your left hip
Just opped over from watching anime, and this intro is soo beautiful.
Seeing that wheat field makes me think we need an old western styled set. Combine it with the colonial set and you got yourself a beautiful recipe for a nice Midwest town circa 1840-1900
I head butted my like button, you are best way for my to chill out. Thank you
