  • With around 3.5 miles of track the Brick Mountain Railroad is one of the largest private ridable miniature railroads in the US. Enjoy a ride on two of the three main line routes as well as chasing a 38 car freight around this massive testament to one man's passion for trains. The railroad, which is built in a mix of 7.5" and 15" gauge has been under construction since 2003 and features dozens of full size functional signals and crossing gates, massive trestles, and recreations of real bridges and tunnels.

When limits are taken off of money and time. Very nice!

This is impressive! Shame it's private, but I can respect the owner not wanting any problems.

    Wow, just wow!
I loved the turkey on the track!
Is the Royal Gorge route the original route? I seem to remember 4-5 years ago when they began on the large trestles.
How many freight cars? Watching it go by at the beginning of the third part reminds me of when a freight slowly pulls out of our local Nampa, Idaho yard and there are just too many to count!

Connecticut. I can't give the actual location as the owner doesn't really want it publicized.

This is pretty cool, but there’s something slightly dystopian to me watching old dudes pull $250,000 in a circle for fun while the rest of us struggle to feed our families and keep our roofs over our heads.
