    Luckily when we attached it there was no problem. We also attached it when the weather was very cold. I remembered that I couldn't stay outside longer because it was so cold that day,so from time to time I went inside the house to warm up.

    You have one light above the garage that came on early and popped on a different color than the rest toward the end of your video... not sure anyone mentioned it to you.
    I plan to do these this year, we live out in the country and I like the idea of the lights both for a holiday and for a security safety setting. Thanks for your video... I was concerned about the cutting of the cables to fit our application, but you helped ease that concern, so again thanks!

    Looks like you have one light acting different on your lower section of the garage about 4 or 5 up from the bottom. Looks like it goes bright white in stead of the warm. I don't know if you noticed it in your video. They are cool. I am looking into them. Thanks for your video.

    • @bennieaust

    • @bennieaust
      @bennieaust  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, instead of selecting one of the preprogrammed scenes, you can select "color", then pick a background color. Then you can individually select each light and assign a second color to those lights. You can also choose to have that second color scroll across the string and even choose how fast it scrolls. There is a lot of individual control. You can't pick a different color for each light though.

      The Govee Pro version is supposed to be way better for soft white. I was a little worried because I plan on using them for regular accent lighting in other seasons. As it turns out they are very adjustable and can cast a very soft white looking light. IMHO, this would not be a reason to spend the extra money on the pro version.

      I purchased one but the controller box doesn’t light up now after i tried to run the wire drilling hole inside out the house. The power supply lights up though. Will splicing the wires together do the job or should I buy another controller box? What would you recommend

    • @bennieaust

      @@jenniferfernandez8086 I'm not sure I understand what's going on. Did you damage the wires or does the unit simply not work? If you damaged the wires I would definitely try splicing them back together, if the unit arrived not working I would contact the seller and try to exchange it. Hope that helps.

      @@bennieaust it was working when i tested initially but after trying to run the wires through my house, the three prongs within the connector of the controller seemed to be bent so i just tried to align them. Im not sure it was due to that reason or if the wire inside got damaged.

    How did it cost you $450 when the product from Amazon was $299? Where is the other $150 go for? Thanks for the video after watching this I will make my decision on old school of installing/uninstalling my LEDs white lights. One of my main reasons for going your way, I have two knee replacements, the last two years my daughter installed my lights for me because I didn't feel safe on my roof/later with my new knees. I am an electrician and a DIYer but I am not getting any younger.

      The regular price on the 150’ kit is $449.99. That’s what I paid for them last week. Amazon has a “Black Friday” going on right now and they are on sale for $299.99. If you are leaning towards buying these, now is the time to buy!!! I put links in the description.

    I like you and I like this video for the content but I feel like the intro part and unboxing to entirely too long that may be a little scripting would help keep it on point and not so verbose. Tell them what you're going to tell them then tell them then tell them what you told them. There is a guy that tests a lot of tools and he really gets to the point quickly and has a huge following. But I have to give you props I'm not making any videos just want to pass along what I like to watch.
