AWESOME video. No one else talks about doing the "drown mode" to get the excess oil out and they always end up spilling oil when changing the oil filter. Will be purchasing a Curtis Valve for my X3!!!!!!

The “drown mode” is the same procedure I saw someone do on a Jeep with the 3.6 engine.

What about the 2nd smaller drain nut? Does that need to come off while you do/initiate drown mode?
