Yes I have mine installed all the time and I’m running that car with it in no problems at all. I did buy two sets of extensions wires one is plugged into the terminal high to extend it. The dash area I did this so when/if I take it to the dealer I can just plug the factory wires into the extension without having to reach up high. I don’t want to deal with that again terminals were way too hard to take off in the high location.
Thanks. So do you suggest to buy the extensions? My car is still under warranty. So if for some reason I have to go to the dealer should I disconnect the SGW Bypass?
@@itsvtrap it’s tedious but once you see the plug in and grab the tabs with two fingers you wiggle them out, may take awhile to undo bc from the factory that plug in is tucked away
Couple of questions. So does this mean I can leave this in and the car will operated as normal? Second does this mean I can just connect a laptop up to the OBD port and and change and save settings in the computer menu. Stuff I have seen requires switching cables and stuff like that for it to work. So it seems like this will just totally bypasses any requirement for the SGW Bypass?
Clear and straight to the point, thank you sir.

Thanks for the video. Did you disconnect the battery before disconnecting the SGW and installing the bypass module?
Not needed.
How the hell did you unplug those wires lol

I believe it’s safer to unplug the module off once you finish working on the car.
If you got the answer let me know. I have the same doubts as you.
this needs to be intalled before the tune and race mode to work right
Ecu baypass could be stay always on the car?
Yep, as of now since this video it’s stayed on the car
Did you have to disconnect the battery?
No, battery was able to stay connected
But do these bypasses void warranties?
I’m not sure I’m about 2 months past my warranty period so it’s not a problem for me, lemme look into it and I’ll comment again
The bypass itself doesn't since it's reversible, but what you do after bypassing might, especially if you mess something up somehow

A lot of patience and Coronas 🤣
Im sat here with blisters on my thumb and fingers after trying. That rear connector does not want to come out!
