Condoleezza Rice is a staunch believer in a set of core values. Whether you believe in the same set of values is less important than the fact that Condi has and lives by her values. I admire both her as a person, a patriot, a leader, and as an artist. I especially admire her loyalty and agree with her values in a world that increasingly suffers from a lack of both.

Secretary Rice is an enormously impressive person. And I think her point regarding biased beliefs against those in the middle east is right on the money. We tried to make similar arguments regarding the Black community in the 50's and 60's, and now we are trying to use those excuses today regarding the Iraqis and others in the Middle East. I guess we didn't learn as much from the Civil Rights era as we thought we did.

That's my prediction based on a 2008 poll of New York State voters which predicted a 21% swing to a McCain-Rice ticket against either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton compared to Bush-Cheney in 2004. That Senator Clinton's own home state would have deserted her to vote for VP Rice just shows that Condi Rice on the ticket matters.

The US constitution imposes an undemocratic majority dictatorship - no proportional representation in Congress, - Article I Section 5 "Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two thirds, expel a member." means that to keep your seat you need a minimum of 1/3 house members to defend you. So it is not government by ALL the people.
