I'm confused. Why does it have a german name? It was built as a USA engine in the UK, rebuilt as a British outline engine and operates in the UK... Where does Germany come into all of this? I feel like something important got missed out here.
I remember 1st seeing & riding behind this engine at Longleat years ago, Good to see it have a new home too, also just a suggestion, after doing all of the engines currently on Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, could you all do a Loco Histories vid or videos of other engines that have worked on this line like Sian, Katie,King George, The Royal Scot, the Sutton Flyer & more Please. th-cam.com/video/KLoOhbdXUSk/w-d-xo.html

Thanks Dylan ! Didn't know much about Konigswinter apart from the name . 😉
You're most welcome!
Travelled many a mile behind that at Longleat back in the day!
May I recommend adding a black outline to the green text, so that it is easier on the eyes to read?
Otherwise brilliant video as usual!
Thanks for the input, glad you enjoyed the video!
Wow what a great awesome exciting story of that Engine used at Longleat.
It really is!
I didn't know Cealwyn was a Tender Engine until he was a Tank Engine but great awesome story.
