      My pleasure.. Just found some new rates for flying indoors. Can't believe the beast comes ready to fly full throttle: th-cam.com/video/Y2KiO_qLqhU/w-d-xo.html

      Probably want to try it on the Pavo Pico Version 2. They fixed a lot between now and then

    I’ll try the same settings and let you know. Currently my pico is jumping up and down and it’s so hard to keep it hovering evening in angle mode

    Is it me or is the audio favoring the left ear? (I’m using wireless earbuds)

    • @How-to-by-Lou
      @How-to-by-Lou  ปีที่แล้ว

      just tested it - it's fine on my end.. You had me worried there for a second becuse there was an update to the action camera yesterday.. So far it's on both ears on my end.

      @@How-to-by-LouThere’s a lot more volume in the left channel than there is in the right.
      It’s no that the right channel is completely silent, but it’s quiet enough that it sounds like there’s only sound coming from the left side.
      Next time, unless you’re specifically working with stereo audio, it’s a good idea to set your voice audio track to mono.

    Thanks for the tips! I noticed there are some jello in your Pavo Pico's footage and I have that too. Do you have any idea to mitigate that?

    • @How-to-by-Lou
      @How-to-by-Lou  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Possible - was able test these setting outside today and they worked pretty good. Now, I think with these settings any beginner should be able to fly FPV. As for the Jello effect, there are many different variables and included them in this video too, could be propeller vibrations. though.. Seems mid rage you do get some vibrations. If you test propellers engines make sure you wear safety goggles.. Sometimes vibrations can cause them to break and go flying off th-cam.com/video/4EB20d4ygHo/w-d-xo.html

      The Pavo Pico comes with two extra rubber grommets, I cut those in half and put them between the cam and the frame when I screw on the camera, it works really good.

      In the first page of pid tuning, on the right side there is "smoothness" by default it was 25, set it to 65.. that helps me for jello things..

    do the ducts come in the way while flying?

      Nope all works well: new rates can be found here for flying indoors.. .... th-cam.com/video/Y2KiO_qLqhU/w-d-xo.html

    You should read the betaflight manual what TPA throttle stands for.. your drone is the opposite of cinematic all shaking with the tune.
    As you are trying to hover in a ground effect which will never be stable with dirty air.. you need to lift from the ground at least a meter first to even try to hover.

    • @How-to-by-Lou
      @How-to-by-Lou  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if there are better setting than the ones here that will help one hover when flying higher off the ground than here in this video am sure others would love to know them too... Perhaps you can share - so one can learn to flyer higher than what's being shown here in this video.. Thanks..

      @@How-to-by-Lou if you want to fly slow and smooth you can decrees max rates on all axis and increase expo values so sticks would be even less sensitive to small inputs.

    Try to reduce your motor output limit in the PID section from 100 to 75 percent and try that instead of the throttle limit.

    • @How-to-by-Lou
      @How-to-by-Lou  ปีที่แล้ว

      wow! total game changer - drone is so much more manageable to the point where I made it half way up the stairs... Thanks so much.. totally game changer for everyone..

    • @ntorres1966
      @ntorres1966 ปีที่แล้ว

      As you get better you can raise the limit until you are at 100 percent or use it there. do not go below 65 percent it wont fly very well@@How-to-by-Lou
