Just to give a little extra insight... You may have noticed the speaker brackets have a small hole in the top. That hole is for running the adapter harnesses through to the speaker. This helps avoid things such as cutting the weather barrier plastic.

Good video, I'm not sure if you looked into somethings already but I'd like to offer some tips. There are some slots/holes on the top of the speaker mounting brackets, that's where the connectors are suppose to pass through as to keep the plugs from not being put inside the door skin. On the rear door, I'm not sure if you ended up breaking of the longer tabs. these brackets are made for a wide variety of cars so they make them with different mounting tabs. Just take some pliers and bend the ones not used to break them off. Speakers can be sensitive, especially with the vibrations they produce. Some times any small tweak on the frame from an improper install or mount can put enough of a kink on the voice coil to cause it to short its self out from with in the voice coil. I hope you continue to enjoy the sound, JBL's, along with Infinity have always been underrated.
