Hello Mr. TH-cam Man, out of the many warframe youtube mans you are one of my favorite, not focusing on what's meta but what's fun, perfectly fits my style of how I play warframe, also your fashion is top notch
Honestly I just slapped Blind Rage, Umbral Intensify, Hunter Adrenaline, Parasitic Vitality, Abundant Mutation, Insatiable, Stretch and Augur Reach on and it's been working wonders. I've got, no joke, like 28k health, acting like 280k health thanks to noodling an enemy, and even a lower-ranked Arcane Grace has been giving me so much health. I could probably swap Reach with Primed Continuity, and Insatiable is hardly critical - just helps speed up stack gain, so that could go to something else as well, maybe Adaptation? Umbral Fiber?
A big thing with Umbra is that most buffs and abilities in the game turn off which hurts a lot for a slash dash build. He also does not cleanse status effects, meaning if he dies, you are just dead unless your operator can cleanse it. This is huge for Excal since we can use slash dash and his abilities a lot more comfortably, now making him the default pick. If you wanted a pure slash dash build, you would go regular Excalibur. Now we can use Umbra instead who is the better option. You lose Primed Sure Footed or maybe you can put the augment in a regular mod slot, but this augment is amazing
@@oriondezagrats4228 ofc you don’t need it, but it’s a very nice mod to have, especially when they throw a lot of eximus at you in certain missions. Last night: I tagged up with a friend to try utilizing Chroma's new augment alongside a Nidus with his new augment. The result was an absolutely *unkillable* duo and was just simply a good laugh that also happened to be incredibly effective in the new Disruption mission. 10/10, would recommend.
I love Kullervo's augment, just teleporting and shredding enemies, I barely have to fire my weapons It's also perfect if you're running a viral build, you get guaranteed slash procs from his Storm
I suspect the Lavos Augment lets he use the same tech that all your recent Saryn builds have been using. I haven't been able to get my friend that uses Lavos to check, tho. Might want to take a look!
Alas, both this Lavos augment AND Toxic Lash have suffered from an indirect nerf; whatever they did to make it apply on multishot clearly didn't account for inheritance from explosive effects like Acid Shells or Vulcan Blitz, so now none of the explosion toxin chaining works right now. Maybe they'll fix it, maybe they won't, who knows.
Damage Decoy is an extremely busted augment!! The aggro pulls enemies away from defense targets, the status effects priming is perfect for glaives and, adding Irradiated Disarm, Loki basically becomes a target defense mission MOMSTER!!
Decoy was always great at its function of being insanely distracting, and the big issue with it had always been its health, which I used to get around by either banishing it or using Safeguard Switch on it. Even setting aside Damage Decoy, the recent buff to how it scales its health has made it so much more useful. I actually slapped it on Inaros just for the sheer memes because I'd sandstorm a bunch of enemies and then plop down Decoy in the middle of them to scale off of their combined health pool and it's basically immortal unless Leech Eximi target it.
That umbra augement is actually great. Umbra sentience is terrible in anything high level and actually removes buffs when you enter the operator. With this, at least we keep buffs on umbra.
Using umbra for open world bounties or basically anywhere that has necramech or operator missions is really good. Idk if I could ever have him not fighting with me. I use magus nourish and magus repair too so hopping into operator mode will heal my frame without much dps loss. I can see the augment being useful for alot of content too though. It would have to be something i switch out
Imo the most annoying thing about umbra's passive is that it prevents players from using void dash as operator to quickly traverse big, open maps like almost every map in the Circuit. When quitting transference players is kicked back into umbra instead warframe being dragged to player.
They finally buffed Chroma...I can't believe this is happening, now I can recast Vex Armor without feeling bad! As for Loki, I'm pretty much the only player that uses power strength on him for helminth builds, so his augment is great too :D
Chroma augmemt is a bandaid to his main issue. He has No self regen. I run two regen shards on my chroma, so he doesnt die as quickly. Along with a Grace. The regen should been something that already was on vex armor. Its really weird that chroma is such a strong warframe, but need alot investment compared to other frames to get to his maximum potential
so, all of these (except 1, i wil get to it.) look quit good, some even look fun ontop, i do thought have a problem with Yareli's, since it switches your DR power to a CC/Pet power, meaning she becomes more squishy than she is already. looks like fun thought.
Love this video. Was very curious about the Baruuk augment but have been playing Dante too much to check the power strength and duration mods of it so thank you very much for going over all of these. I was also curious if you could look into the Mecha mod set at some point as well. I've been playing around with it and I understand the spreading status but why does it increase the number of procs on an enemy by itself?
Loki’s augment works with helmith nyx. Use the decoy on the enemy then mind control it to keep the decoyed enemy from dying. HOWEVER, using the decoy AFTER using mind control will break mind control. If nyx ever gets a buff, this combo will be nutty I promise.
to be fair they buffed Decoy also in the patch notes "Decoy now also draws 15% of the Health and Shield totals of enemies within a base of 15m, scaling with Ability Strength and Range" and i have tested it on lvl 155 (steel path) and it took pretty long while to kill the decoy and that was just me obseving not really killing the enemy
Nezha has the same augment as Exal Umbra. Loose passive for 15 strength. The bonuses gained should be improved. Some ideas I had: Nezha looses passive. But you gain a huge ammount of sprint and parkour velocity. with maybe some strength or somthing. And for Umbras: Fix why people hate his passive. or, make it like Chrona's effigy. where it cant die, stands in one spot and spams abilities (except channeled abilities) and maybe weapons
Sometimes the umbra can break the game like sometimes with me in the circuit it will spawn a sentient umbra that doesnt despawn when i go back to warframe but when i return the only ability i can use is slash dash so id say its just to avoid bugs
I wish the Umbra one would give a little more strength, but I'm gonna run it for sure. I usually run a gloom build on my umbra, and the lad likes to turn gloom off whenever I transfer out.
With the Mobile mod and a couple parkour velocity shards, my Yareli is much faster without Merulina so the new augment is great and I have a subsumed ability on her 1 so having a way to use Sea Snares when I don't have it makes it better.
Some of these mods sound really fun. As a person who loves using Lavos (no. 3 most used 'frame according to the 11th year summary) I should probably give it a shot. I'd love to see some videos about Yareli, is she just for shit and giggles or is there something to her too? In any case, a great video as always! Keep up the great work and take care!
It's a good-ish CC Especially on max efficiency her 2sec Sea Snare cooldown drops to a stupid 0.8s. Basically a full auto FREE CC + Damage vulnerability.
Like I never use his 4 because it doesn't flow well with his gameplay (additional button press) eventhough the combo is very nice. So that augment will fix that!
Desiccation's Curse now spawns Swarm Kavats (and as the helminth option, technically allows Khora to have up to 10 cats now). Elemental Sandstorm didn't change, but since Sandstorm is a whole lot more valuable in his kit now it's a lot more likely to actually see usage. It basically acts as a second Stretch and is great for pre-priming enemies before you attack the clump.
Will check tomorrow, because if it can then its even better as an augment. Also energy efficiency modifies the cooldown for sea snare casting? (The augment adds the cooldown value and its 2 on base efficiency.)
I still think the excal augment should be on another slot, like... theres a mod called wariors wake that lets umbra follows you and this rest that rests the umbra
What in the balls DE... instead of fixing excalibur umbra's sentient passive they give us augment that removes it. b r u h. (The problem that umbra's sentient passive has its that it turns of any buffs and skills when going into operator, which really sucks in gameplay.)
Are people still able to join your clan? My clan has pretty much died and someone messed the dojo all up. I just want a clan that is active and has things unlocks as I'm MR24 and I don't want to farm all that stuff again haha! Also it'd be nice to be in an active clan with people to talk to and test things with.
But lavos is a must. Just going to be Hard to fit in. I use a molt build because 1.5 mil heat damage is well good. So going to be tight to squeeze it in
These augments are interesting. That Nidus one I may have to get, and it will make me want to use parasitic link But I do wish they would add another slot on top in between the aura and exilus slots just for the augments. So that way, you don't have to sacrifice your a mod and your build.
The umbra augument is only useful when you keep your buffs like normal Excalibur Then finally umbra is no longer worse that normal Excalibur Then losing your buff anytime you switch to operator sucks
the umbra one was a much recquested fix cus meta players complained bout losing buffs whenever they went to operator mode since the sentience of umbra discards all buffs and ongoing abilities to do its thing. for me is dumb cus is the whole gimmick of the frame aside of being a cheapo primo excal for non founders...
…its a very valid complaint to not want to lose all your buffs when doing something as common as switching to operator. Why are you acting like it’s a “ugh meta players being annoying again” situation? Needing to reapply all your buffs after just switching to operator is a pain in the ass, meta or not
Calling people who dislike umbras passive meta players is stupid, because being an excalibur main is the opposite of meta. Him taking away your buffs is a valid criticism that legitimately just makes him worse than base excal.
@@shaylauckbur9708 No unfortunately they also don't carry them helminth abilities over either or use ammo which is why explosives are usually pretty popular because they do large damage and never need a refill or even a reload.
Yesn't. Passives shouldn't require dang augment mods to toggle them, but Umbra is one of the premier examples of a frame whose passive was actively detrimental to certain play styles, ones that Normal Excal had no issues with. The ai is dumb and constantly falls in holes and burns ammo, the fact that it can shed buffs is dumb, the fact that it used to turn off exalted blade was dumb, the fact that it will continue to turn off other toggled stuff via helminth is dumb, so on and so forth.
@@INeed94Cents But then you don't get the fly-as-hell fashion and miss out on the increased base energy capacity and armour, increased starting energy, increased energy maximum, increased base armour, and innate umbra polarities without having to use umbra forma. Given most Excal builds are built around Exalted Blade, Zenurik is not as useful, so you could easily fit in, say, Unairu to block knockdowns and staggers and slows, or you could fit in Vazarin to make yourself invulnerable. Heck, all you need to do is turn towards an arson blast wave to avoid being knocked down since auto-block will take care of it. Even builds that focus more on Slash Dash will have little use for it, as Slash Dash makes you invulnerable for its duration, and thus immune to knockdown.

I remember enjoying Lavos quite a bit before taking a hiatus.
Going to try it with the vulcan blitz build from yesterday. Science and explosions!
I feel like the Umbra one wouldnt need to exist if they just fixed his ai -_-
It's more about slash dash builds and him losing his buff when you switch to operator
Thick ass facts
Hello Mr. TH-cam Man, out of the many warframe youtube mans you are one of my favorite, not focusing on what's meta but what's fun, perfectly fits my style of how I play warframe, also your fashion is top notch
We desperately need an augment slots. I can't build Nidus at all anymore
I genuinely don't think I've ever used PSF and I've been able to take on most forms of endgame steel path content just fine.
@@oriondezagrats4228 ofc you don’t need it, but it’s a very nice mod to have, especially when they throw a lot of eximus at you in certain missions. PSF is a comfort mod, but now I can just use this and focus on keeping Excal’s buffs up without having to worry about them being cancelled by going to operator. Now I can be more active with him and use radial blind to cc enemies to prevent knockdowns and use Umbra with ease.
@@oriondezagrats4228yeah, there's not a single mist have mod for most frames. But psf is still really nice to have, and an arguable best in (exilus) slot for a lot of frames.
Damage Decoy has some fun synergies with Mind Control and Rage
honestly that damage decoy should have been on nyx not Loki
it just made loki's 1 literally mind control but better
@@lag00n54 I'd say it's only better for Solo play, since after spending a day fiddling with it I've found that without Mind Control the decoy is liable to just die to allies anyway immediately.
@@pathfindersavant3988figured even with the decoy buf "Decoy converts 15% (base, scales with Ability Strength) of enemy Health and Shields within 15m (base, scales with Ability Range) into its own Health and Shields" it's not gonna be enough against players prob
Huh, those are some super neat augments, that lavos one looks like dumb fun for status shenanigans, thanks for the helpful video MC!
Lavos mains we eatin good tonight 🗣️🗣️💯💯‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥
all three of us
We're all here
I notice a lot of these augments are for abilities that are fairly commonly subsumed over, and I don't know if these would make people less likely to do that since you also have to give up a mod slot. The Chroma and Yareli augments look like nice QoL buffs though, might have to pick those up.
Finally... Someone who Appreciates the Value of Mod Slots. 😍
I didn't quite process what the Lavos augment did when reading the passive, seeing it in action has me all 👀👀
The Nezha one seems fun too, though I guess it'd require a higher range efficiency build to really shine. Coolbeans!
That's because it was Poorly Worded.... Like many other mods in Warframe. 👀
My boy lavos getting the respect he deserves
My friend and i were playing around with the new stuff in a survival and i had my loki decoy one shot stalker in the funniest no you moment
you must use onos with kuva zarr, when you use Incarnon mode and get kills with is some how or some reson gives you over 200 ammo reserve for kuva zarr
Oh.... So this -Bug- "Feature" has Returned. 👀
Check out the tenet exec melee. The heavy slam is a bit of "dumb fun"
Last night: I tagged up with a friend to try utilizing Chroma's new augment alongside a Nidus with his new augment. The result was an absolutely *unkillable* duo and was just simply a good laugh that also happened to be incredibly effective in the new Disruption mission. 10/10, would recommend.
The augments of this update are such huge Ws
I love Kullervo's augment, just teleporting and shredding enemies, I barely have to fire my weapons
It's also perfect if you're running a viral build, you get guaranteed slash procs from his Storm
I suspect the Lavos Augment lets he use the same tech that all your recent Saryn builds have been using. I haven't been able to get my friend that uses Lavos to check, tho. Might want to take a look!
No.
Tell Octavia to sit on it & spin lol
That umbra augement is actually great. Umbra sentience is terrible in anything high level and actually removes buffs when you enter the operator. With this, at least we keep buffs on umbra.
Man i love these new augments, my fav has to be umbra one since i hope this will also affect channelled abilities.
Since Inaros got reworked i noticed sandstorm works even through walls, immagine full strength and range with the augment build!
The point with passive augment mods like Nezha's, Zephyr's or Umbra's is to disable their passive because it's disrupting to some people
They finally buffed Chroma...I can't believe this is happening, now I can recast Vex Armor without feeling bad! As for Loki, I'm pretty much the only player that uses power strength on him for helminth builds, so his augment is great too :D
I had Eclipse on him before to snapshot it for invisibility. Oh, how the turns table...
I don't hate the Yareli one but tbh I do like the extra sea snares, but idk if I'll use it because I do like K-Driving around
If nyx ever gets a buff, this combo will be nutty I promise.
to be fair they buffed Decoy also
in the patch notes "Decoy now also draws 15% of the Health and Shield totals of enemies within a base of 15m, scaling with Ability Strength and Range"
and i have tested it on lvl 155 (steel path) and it took pretty long while to kill the decoy and that was just me obseving not really killing the enemy
whats your kuva chackurn build? is for my nezha and i just got the weapon
that works out perfect cuz been considering putting Roar on Lavos but can skip all the work 2:00
Does that lavos mod apply to your companions??
Nezha has the same augment as Exal Umbra.
Loose passive for 15 strength.
The bonuses gained should be improved.
Some ideas I had:
Nezha looses passive. But you gain a huge ammount of sprint and parkour velocity.
with maybe some strength or somthing.
And for Umbras:
Fix why people hate his passive.
or, make it like Chrona's effigy.
where it cant die, stands in one spot and spams abilities (except channeled abilities) and maybe weapons
Sometimes the umbra can break the game like sometimes with me in the circuit it will spawn a sentient umbra that doesnt despawn when i go back to warframe but when i return the only ability i can use is slash dash so id say its just to avoid bugs
My only question about Yareli's augment is does this mean that Merulina no longer intercepts damage for her? Or does it still do that?
Да, она всё так же перехватывает на себя большую часть урона.
Lavos augment just means profit taker got 10x simpler
Syndicate mods or change to existing ones ?
Scarab Augment gives you a free revive and bladestorm on top
I wish the Umbra one would give a little more strength, but I'm gonna run it for sure. I usually run a gloom build on my umbra, and the lad likes to turn gloom off whenever I transfer out.
Anyone know if Yareli's new augment still allows marulina to cast sea snares if you subsume sea snares off the frame?
With the Mobile mod and a couple parkour velocity shards, my Yareli is much faster without Merulina so the new augment is great and I have a subsumed ability on her 1 so having a way to use Sea Snares when I don't have it makes it better.
Lavos is finally the new Profit Taker king.
Wishful Thinking. 🤔
It's a good-ish CC
Especially on max efficiency her 2sec Sea Snare cooldown drops to a stupid 0.8s. Basically a full auto FREE CC + Damage vulnerability.
Unrelated but Id love to see you do something with the shedu for your series where you make off meta weapons good
Still day 30: Can you please do the dark split sword in both heavy blade and dual dagger mode please, or the zylok prime incarns?
Would of loved a dagath augment but I can't argue with that lavos one. Seems very spicy.
dagath may have a augment around 1999 i think
I know that I'm already slapping on some of these without thinking about my build as soon as I login. (Kullervo for example)
Like I never use his 4 because it doesn't flow well with his gameplay (additional button press) eventhough the combo is very nice. So that augment will fix that!
Does the Yareli one still give her whatever protection she'd normally get while riding Merulina? Damage reduction or whatever?
She still keeps the damage reduction, stagger and knockdown Immunity yes
Hello mister youtube man. It is i, mister viewer man!
You know if lavos was able to use that augment on other players like volt and saryn
he would be KING of arbitrations
Were any other Inaros augments changed in addition to Negation Swarm?
Desiccation's Curse now spawns Swarm Kavats (and as the helminth option, technically allows Khora to have up to 10 cats now). Elemental Sandstorm didn't change, but since Sandstorm is a whole lot more valuable in his kit now it's a lot more likely to actually see usage. It basically acts as a second Stretch and is great for pre-priming enemies before you attack the clump.
@@oriondezagrats4228 omg, so much helminth stuff to do now
What is his tatsu prime build?
Does the Merulina augment still shoot sea snares if you subsume a different ability over sea snares?
Will check tomorrow, because if it can then its even better as an augment. Also energy efficiency modifies the cooldown for sea snare casting? (The augment adds the cooldown value and its 2 on base efficiency.)
@@dissidia8876fights Could you also check if pet merulina still work with Merulina Guardian augment?
Yes it does
@@fitzviandraduivenab2790 they both conflict unfortunately
umbra also will turn off your helimenth abilities, so ya that augment was the big fix
Use the augments with the MIGHTY SEER
I'd love to see you test how the nezha augment works with Cascadia empowered builds
imagine using Cedo on it or incarnon torid lol
A friend brought umbra to spy
i am once again asking for a buzloc video update
But lavos is a must.
Just going to be Hard to fit in.
I use a molt build because 1.5 mil heat damage is well good.
So going to be tight to squeeze it in
Caliban is still forgotten
Me name be wrong in outro 😢
Fixed, You will have to wait until the next one, tho.
@@MCGamerCZ thx mate
Lavos in place of Saryn now for all of those new videos you are doing
Edit: Lavos augment doesn't work like Toxic Lash. Sadge
I am upset that I did not get refunded for the Umbra Forma I put on my Inaros.
Lavos's new Augment + Thermal Sunder Augment
What's the point? Might aswell just use roar.
can Roar Armor Strip?
@@dreamingleviathan3354 can subsumed thermal sunder armor strip?
No? Didn't think so.
@@INeed94Cents ... thats its entire purpose...
THATS LITERALLY WHAT IT DOES. JUST HAVE A SINGLE CORROSIVE PROC OR SOMETHING
And also, even if subsume thermal sunder COULD armor strip, it would be given a cooldown
These augments are interesting. That Nidus one I may have to get, and it will make me want to use parasitic link
But I do wish they would add another slot on top in between the aura and exilus slots just for the augments. So that way, you don't have to sacrifice your a mod and your build.
as a ravid lavos player this new augment is so good but is balenced somehow at the same time
Hear me out... dante ability on caliban goes hard with duration for his 4 and 3
I feel like force slash is a bit lacklustre when his 4 already removes armour, no?
The umbra augument is only useful when you keep your buffs like normal Excalibur
Then finally umbra is no longer worse that normal Excalibur
Then losing your buff anytime you switch to operator sucks
the umbra one was a much recquested fix cus meta players complained bout losing buffs whenever they went to operator mode since the sentience of umbra discards all buffs and ongoing abilities to do its thing. for me is dumb cus is the whole gimmick of the frame aside of being a cheapo primo excal for non founders...
I Play Yareli.
De gave up on fixing yareli and Kdrives. No reason to get yareli prime anymore.
I feel cheated with Baruuks augment because I just place five violet tauforged shards on him
Bile is easy af to farm.. .. Play the game..
The nidus mod would be so good if specters could use mods lol.
they dont?
@@shaylauckbur9708 No unfortunately they also don't carry them helminth abilities over either or use ammo which is why explosives are usually pretty popular because they do large damage and never need a refill or even a reload.
umbra shouldnt have that augment just put it as a setting
lavos augment tho now THAT is bonkers
I can fly again as styanax albeit not doing any damage
Lil bro I’m not grinding this
The Umbra Augment made me laugh so Hard.... It's so Silly and Pointless.
It's pointless because you have to use a whole mod slot for it when you can just use regular excal and keep the exilus.
@@INeed94Cents But then you don't get the fly-as-hell fashion and miss out on the increased base energy capacity and armour, increased starting energy, increased energy maximum, increased base armour, and innate umbra polarities without having to use umbra forma.
It's not like that exilus slot is going to be used for anything particularly meaningful.
