can it be fit with 77mm Canon L lenses? As it requires a 72mm adapter ring, I guess it may have a chance to fit with 77mm without an adapter. Can you also kindly review the YN-14EX II, please?
It depends on the len´s diameter. The 100mm Caonon Macro lenses are 58mm in diameter. Therefore the ring flash should fit with the proper 58mm adapter.

Figure out what filter thread your lens uses and spend two bucks on eBay for a step-up or step-down ring from one of the supplied adapter rings (52mm/58mm/67mm/72mm) to the diameter of your filter thread. Then screw the eBay ring on your lens and then the flash's adapter ring into that one and you're ready to snap on the flash head.

People complaining about battery door popping open because of manufacturing defect. Do not buy! Many people have same problem.
