  • Got mine here: tatsuhobby.com/webstore/index....
    The Good: Very detailed, has decals and painted. Great articulation and lots of accessories/gimmicks. Die-cast joints.
    The Bad: Some joints are stiff. Some peg connectors are a bit tricky to remove. I found some nub marks all over the figure, some can be managed.

    are the robot spirits the only gundam figures that are pre built? i wanna collect them but the thing is i dont have time to assemble it

      @meadeslemicah  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unless you're going for Gundam Fix Figuration or Metal Build, at this price range usually $50-70 for normal Robot spirits.

    I wish Bandai would make a revive hg kit of Ex-s. I can't justify paying so much for a robot damashii, even if it is a metal build with extra details.
    Still a nice figure regardless

    After contemplating for a while, I'd decided to grab this for 200 bucks which is as much as what I spent on the PG Banshee. Oh boy...

      Edit: Mine just came in the mail today and he's a bit smaller than I thought. The plastic has a clay-ish feel to it. And man... I should have listened to you about the paint scratching lol

    how does it feel tho?, how heavy is it

    • @meadeslemicah
      @meadeslemicah  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that heavy at all, quite light. The joints are die-cast but not enough to weight the whole thing down.

    • @Bintangtumakaka
      @Bintangtumakaka 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      do you think its worth it or should i rather pick up the metal composite figures e.g. unicorn/banshee?

    • @meadeslemicah
      @meadeslemicah  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have the metal composite figs to gave you a definitive answer. But generally GFF are like metal build and offer more heft and details. The metal RD's are a bit pushing what RD's can provide to attract other collectors who don't normally get RD's (since they're usually non-chogokin.) Hope that helps.

    Typically Gundam in the Robot Damashii line don't sell out, in fact a lot of them do end up going on sell later on. But if it is associated with metal, it will be sold out.

    • @meadeslemicah
      @meadeslemicah  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      not entirely, the first MRD Hi-Nu Gundam was out for awhile and went on clearance eventually.

    • @melvinthedeathless.melvint6727
      @melvinthedeathless.melvint6727 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nu was a shelf warmer; so it's somewhat of a surprise when bandai decided to continue the line. OO raiser looks set to be another shelf warmer; we already had 3 runs of MB OO raiser, so what's the point of releasing another (expensive) OO raiser that's smaller in scale with fewer details ? Bandai should have just given us FAZZ already.

  • @sonicking12
    @sonicking12 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    too small! i want 1/100!

    • @melvinthedeathless.melvint6727
      @melvinthedeathless.melvint6727 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very doubtful that would happen, Ex-S is from an old graphic novel, it lacks mainstream appeal, and a 1/100 premium grade EX-S would be costly, very costly indeed. This figure at 1/144 scale already cost 17,000 yen; at 1/100 scale, the cost would be too much for collectors to bear..

    • @twentyfoursevensmoke
      @twentyfoursevensmoke 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can get it if you are prepared to build it. Bandai make a master grade plamo kit

  • @kevinrobinson5283

    So expensive, it's all plastic model and they put their name on the price and goes up by 60$. Fucking BS for this kit. I hate how kotobukiya make everything that looks cool so expensive. Money beggars

    • @AyaxRo
      @AyaxRo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is a Bandai offering. Not Kotobukiya. And its not a kit that you build, its an assembled figure, your sentence is a bit unclear as to whether you're comparing its quality to a regular model kit or if you believe this is a model kit.
      I have one, and I agree with the sentiments shared on this video.

    • @meadeslemicah
      @meadeslemicah  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ayaxro thanks! I was about to say those words. Lol.

    • @AyaxRo
      @AyaxRo 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, on a side note. I've had problems with the black base adapter that fits into the peghole on the back of the figure being a bit too loose, and I've had a few times where moving the figure by just the base has caused it to come off the peg and fall off, I've been lucky that I've caught it before it hits the table but I've contemplated using some sort of glue to secure it, afterall this figure will probably never be displayed off its base.

    • @meadeslemicah
      @meadeslemicah  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ayaxro same issue with Metal Build Bases. I usually tilt the peg up that way the connector slides toward the base. It does make the figure tilt up a bit, but at least it won't slip down.
