NOTE: this event Pokémon has nothing to do with setting your birthday at the in-game Pokémon Center in Scarlet and Violet. There is unfortunately no Pokémon bonus for that. These birthday event Pokémon distributions have always been exclusive to Pokémon Center retail stores in Japan (and recently Singapore) and are not available in other countries. If you want one of these codes, the easiest way is to find one on eBay! The cost for an authentic code to redeem as opposed to a duped or genned birthday event Pokémon is high, but if owning one matters to you, it's certainly cheaper than traveling to get one! Collecting marks and niche event ribbons became a hobby of mine, so it was a worthwhile investment for me.
