- Shiny Pokémon are the most aesthetic-based aspect of Pokémon, and to many shiny hunters, having your shiny match its Poké Ball is almost as important as finding the shiny itself! In this video, I'm going over all 30(ish) Poké Balls in the franchise and pairing them with their perfect shiny match!

Some colors don’t match as well as they could have because of the files I chose for the Pokémon/Poké Balls. It was an issue of color matching vs. quality files for the video. Apologies if some of the colors aren’t as aesthetically pleasing as they could have been!

Just stumbled upon this video, but it's also true in German as the "Hyperball," which makes it essentially the same as the Japanese name. However, we make it into a "compound word" as we German love to smash words together to make new ones!

it may be an ambitious project but i would enjoy a series of you going through each regions dex and pairing each pokémon line with a ball, it wouldn’t have to be as in depth as these but i would definitely watch

Shiny jangmo-o literally has a giant pink heart on its forehead for the love ball…
Another strangely fitting detail with the Beast Ball Shuckle combination, Beast Ball's throw animation opens up a wormhole which has a similar pattern to the bug net that the Net Ball has, so with Shuckle being a Bug and partially wormlike, this match is almost uncanny because of how perfect it is.
You should have chosen Espeon for the Friend Ball.
The white bottom references Eevee's shiny, and the green and red dot match Espeon with its red gemstone. The yellow lines can reference that it evolves during the day, and obviously through high friendship. I'm surprised that it didn't immediately catch your eye.
Or you could just not care and use a quick ball
I know it's my bias talking since it was my first shiny in sword and shield, but I will never forget about Grapploct! Literally the first Clobbopus I encountered was shiny and I wasn't prepared to see the square shiny animation since I didn't know a lot about the pokemon.
my most recent favorite pairing is Forretress with the Luxury Ball, or any Pokemon that got a golden texture in SV. the new texture on it is AMAZING!! i also like the (specifically Future) Paradox mons in the Timer Ball, just for the entry animation since i think it fits very well thematically! awesome video!!
The only issue I have with the color / ball rankings is that it really mostly takes into consideration colors and not theming. I think Fast Ball works great with regular Voltorb and Electrode because of their impressive speed, and the fact that it’s not just a standard Poké Ball color, but also with an electric symbol upon it, the symbol of their very type! I catch a lot of Electric-Types in Fast Balls for this very reason. A fitting ball for many of the Electric Type.
Shiny Solgaleo is a nice fit for the fast ball and the mark on it kind of looks like an S

A pairing I got litteraly earlier today, qas shiny Tyrouge and heavy ball, I never thought It'd work so well
With the Luxury Ball, I feel like shiny Revavroom fits it best, both having a nice gold in their color scheme! Also I’ve ALWAYS wanted a shiny Furfrou, so you have one other fan at least lol!

Victini is indeed a rabbit! It's actually based on usagi-ringo, which is a way that apple slices can be cut so the peel splits and sticks out like rabbit ears

I figured you'd just use the sport ball's anime design, which is 1. way better, and 2. Perfectly matches shiny flygon.
Perfect pairing for Quick Ball is shiny Cobalion imo
I caught both my Zacian and Zamazenta in Lure balls since both were sleeping in a lake . So it makes sense catching both in lure balls.

for the timer ball, i think ursaluna would be a good one kinda. the colors aren't 100%, but the aesthetics of it work, like the clocks in the throwing animation being how ursaluna transcended time and evolved and stuff. just something i thought i'd add
Shiny Noibat goes really well with the net ball, even though it isn't a water or bug type. It's almost a perfect color match.
Love Ball fits so well with Ducklett! Not only does its shiny turn pink, Ducklett also has the heart motif going on in its design!
bro, I always put all pokemon in poke balls. shiny, normal, legandary, and mythical pokemon.
one of my favorite pairings is shiny scream tail in a dream ball, the pink for it's body and the red for its eyes
I think I probably would have picked Jangmo-o for the Love Ball and Dragapult for the Moon Ball, but I totally agree with the rest! I think I might have to make some more exceptions for my Luxury-Balls-only rule if I ever get any of these.

My first shiny was a shinx in legends arceus and I caught her in an ultra ball because that game sadly doesn’t have a luxury ball. I named her lucky and Luxray is now my favourite Pokémon!
I personally think shiny Zangoose goes with the Great Ball the best.
With Trevanent being my favorite ghost type i caught my shiny version in a timer ball for both the color matching and the fact that its shiny looks like what it would normally look like if time went by aka why i chose the timer ball
Though this one isn't a shiny, you gotta admit that Tentacruel looks pretty clean in a great ball
I got my first shiny in the main series games by breeding for it - a shiny Galarian Ponyta! I bred it specifically to have good IVs & to be in a Love Ball. I've got a collection of breedables in one of my PC boxes in SWSH, all of them are caught in neat Pokeballs.

I caught a shiny Giratina in a Moon Ball on Halloween once. That's one of the shinies I'm most proud of.

I feel like cherish ball is one hell of a missed opportunity. Genesect is my favorite match, being mostly red with very subtle black accents and looking unnatural, just like the ball itself.
in pokemon sword and shield, nothing is better than hatching a shiny lurantis in a Friend ball.

Seeing this reminds me of how awesome some parings yo.hqnd in hand and makes me wish we had many more pokeball types out there like why isnt there one that better catches pokemon in caves or one that helps capture fire types better or whatever
While Aegislash is a objectively better pick for the Level Ball, I'd argue Reshiram or even Victiny work really well too. Reshiram has all the three colors, and Victiny cause, well, it has V on it

You should give yourself more credit: Grapploct is a GREAT pick, omg!!! Like, look at the black circle with the yellow ring on the sides of the head!
And I think Deoxys edges out the Quick Ball pick over Dragpult because of the existence of SPEED Forme. :) And is that the PvZ font? :D

Jangmo-o is CLEARLY the best for a love ball. Like cmon, it has a large pink heart right on its forehead!

Well, i have a skuntank in a masterball I got from an illegal decidueye. He's reddish purple, plus he probably knew memento so YEET. I hate when shinies kill themselves. I had lost a first try shiny regieleki to struggle because I had no masterballs. And I can't hunt it since I already caught it.
shiny giratina also matches the net ball extremely well
Last night i failed to get a shiny flutter mane in a friend ball like i wanted, got it in a nest ball tho which actually works rather well
